I understand the strategy.

I'm just interested if anybody is entering on M5 and how is he doing? Because I have been strictly following the rules and entering on M15.
Anything above the line is an uptrend, below the line is a downtrend.

My understanding is that you can enter on the five min, and the one min as well as the fifteen min

I enter on the m5 chart. On the indices, the m1 or a line-chart.

Well you are the master so I don't have to ask that it works good for you right?

You've actually got me thinking. Yes, I do run on the m5 etc and yes, it is successful, however, there are a couple of factors that will no doubt play a part in that.

One is that by running the m5 / m1, I do get more chances to enter. This is important to me, as I do not use HOLO as a stand alone method but as part of a stable, as I have mentioned before.

Because of this, I will often miss the first entry of any given set-up. If I was using the m15, often that would be that, I'd have to wait for another go around. However, working the lower time-frame(s) and especially a line-chart, I will usually have another opportunity to enter.

I also will have no hesitation on taking a scratch trade, banking flat or +1 no matter what the rules have said about going to +5 etc. I will then simply re-enter if price does indeed go on in our favour.

Yes, I pay an increased cost in that but that's bearable over the long term. I am, at heart, a scalper, so this is my way of doing things every day on my other methods, I don't have a problem with it. I cover it by stacking into a move as it goes in my favour.

Often I will enter a HOLO as a continuation to a 1-2-3 that has retraced, so that adds another dimension.

Once you master the entry, you have to make the method your own.

Can you share which pairs you trade the most? And have most success with?

Please keep things simple. Follow the simple rules. Worrying about M15 vs. M5 is not necessary. The entry line is the same no matter the chart time period.

Just for the record, these are the pairs I have HOLO set up on just now (in no particular order):

DAX, EU, GU, UC, GJ, CJ, AU, S&P, UJ, EJ, AJ, NU, EA, AC, UDkk, GN, UMxn, UNok, Crude, $-Index, Gold and EG.

In reality, this means nothing, simply that at one time recently, I have been scanning charts in a quiet period and noticed that there was a shape that looked promising, so dropped HOLO onto it. I am afraid that I don't keep detailed track of what individual methods brought in what returns. I am not that motivated. So long as I end the day greened up, I don't really care.

If something was to hit a losing run, I'd be aware soon enough.

As far as I remember, I found that the list TS posted a while ago matched my own experience, so that would be UJ, EJ and UC.

When they range, GU and EU work well - but then again, that could be said about any of them.

I cancelled my buy stop when GBP / JPY made a new low, and took price below yesterday's low range.
There was another opertunity off the 6.00 AM bar, but I wasn't around to take it
