yes,..i get stooped out in all the demo accounts,.not in the real account,.because the spread, in XM zero accounts was in the time 0.2 pips.
The low impact news created some transactions when you look at the demo account of this thread and yes these are a minority. When I checked these, until the end of July and since April, there were 6 trades after low impact news : 1 winner, 5 losers.
Both medium and high impact news generated more winners than losers.
Agree that these are a minority but the trader should have the opportunity to exclude these if possible, without impacting the EA engine.
AN easy fix will be to set it up in the external variables.
One way to step up is to list the lo/medium/high impact news, another one, is to give the traders the time at which the EA can run (different slots available). I am not a programmer but that would be 2 options.
If a new EA release will be coming, i believe it may be great to have the size of the trade as a standard feature in the non 1K EA version. As an example, during low volatility time, such as month of August or national holidays, the trader should have the ability to reduce the size of the trade. I know I did just that since August 1st. Having the standard features may help in having less version of the EA to maintain. Just a suggestion.

Ok so what is the commision???Cant be much now that idiots are regulated and have too follow ESMA:s 30:1 maximum levrage...That is what regulation does for us mess up the way too make money trading...Luckely my broker saw this coming and stayed unregulated...

hi, my XM trading activity was posted on the head of thread. You can get the details there, includes commission.
ZERO is not 100% zero. it will still up and down depending on market situation. my experience is, for main currency pair, like EURUSD, it will be around 0.0 to 0.2 pipe. other currency pairs will be higher. XM does charge commission. In my trading list, it shows the commission is around 5pipes to 9 pipes per every standard lot.
As we know, news trading is very sensitive to the spread. So that level of commission charge, to me, is still pretty reasonable.
That is what i tought i used a standard account with XM when i was a neewbee and that is what xm are praying on people who dont know much abaut forex my spreads where 1.2 pips and up...So they have opened a zero account...HAHA...With spreads 0-0.2 lets say 0.1 awerage + commision 0.5-0.9 lets say 0.7 thats a total of 8 dollars pr lot and thats robbery i would actually loose money with my 1-3 pip scalping......My broke charges 2 dollars pr lot + 0.1 spread a total of 3 dollars pr lot....When it goes up for people with the ESMA bullshit and their robbery prices i hope they go out of buissness...

I opened a demo with IC markets to test something on their "true ECN" account type. On their website they state that comission is 3.5$/lot. They charge me double that amount for whatever reason, did not have time to ask yet. Spreads are ok.
Spreads with IC markets are 0 but they charge you 3.5 dollars when you open a trade and 3.5 dollars when you close it a total of 7 dollars way too much...

Then they have hidden that 3.5$ closing fee very well because i found only 3.5$/lot comission. Can you point me where they write about the closing fee?
