Disliked{quote} Hi HG, how about the background, last 200-300 bars? speaking about EU: the SOW was only during Asia and UK open. Yesterday and day before yesterday after high volume bar (HVB) we saw higher prices for both days (also the SOS was there) so to my mind the background was quite strong, especially with those ultra high volume bars (UHVB) on 19.07. and 20.07 following up move. Whats your thought on that?Ignored
DislikedTHE EVOLUTION OF GAVIN HOLMES I recently attended a TradeGuider webinar and Gavin Holmes said something that showed his growth, or evolution, as a trader. He then reverted back to the Gavin of old, but I want to give him some props for the possible growth. Gavin was asked, " What do you think x Market will do?". Gavin replied, " I don't think. I don't get paid to think. I get paid to trade.". I don't think Gold will do this. But if it does follow this path (and I could trade spot Gold), I would take the trade....... {image} Sharp Shooter: (1) Identify...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I take a more myopic approach: I believe an Ultra High Volume Bar impacts the next 25 bars more than the next 225 bars. {image}Ignored
DislikedTrying to imitate HiddenGap: (With one ddifference - i dont know how to use Accumulation/Distribution chart mode, because it's always positive, and you can't just >0 - green,<0 - red) {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I'm sure you remember those old webinars with Tom Williams, he said multiple times that the human eye is much better at reading the charts than any computer. I'm quite happy with VZA zones, but I might play around with this some. I have a question though if you don't mind, whats your opinion on trading off absorption bars? Do you find them too risky of a setup or do they have a place in your toolbox? {image}Ignored
