Eur/Usd: Daily Market Trends Update 8/9/2018

Eur/Usd On 8/9/2018 at 8am est.. Boulder Multi Time Frame System:

1H, Downtrend, Trend stop at 1H close 1.1621, Running Period: 25x1H
4H, Uptrend, Trend stop at 4H close 1.1541, Running Period: 8 x 4H
Daily, Downtrend, Trend stop at day close 1.1752, Running Period: 88 days.
Weekly, Downtrend, Trend stop at day close 1.2377,Running Period: 10week


( Note: Those stops will change with hour close and price action)

Trading Strategy:

Currently H1 downtrend, H4 uptrend, daily and weekly are downtrend. A mixed signal, range trade between 1H 1621 to 4H 1541 stops. If you trade 1H trend, preference is to short as long as downtrend stop 1.1621 held at 1H close


Option expiries today $EURUSD 1.15 (1.1bln), 1.1510-30 (1.2bln), 1.1550 (1bln), 1.1600 (823mln)

$AUDUSD 0.7465-75 (2bln)

Hi Boulder...Reasonably good odds that 1.1547 - 1.1553 will be tested today....

If not secret, what is this indicator you are using? Is it kind of comprehensive Fibo levels?

it might..currently 1.1600 (823mln) is more relevant.. till this option out of way after London close.. the trend will continue...hope is bear side..since my two systems shorted it ... good luck...

The lower range is tightening as well as the upper range.
in the range. A pennant may have formed. Since the pennant would be pointing up. It would make it's success a bearish one. it has put a few wicks through.. its not going anywhere w/o a L close below 1553..

On a side note, I think, this bear move to 1553 and 1446 might be the last one.
As per Gator, we might see rejection at 1446, which I think, going to be continued with double bottom (W) to test 1750, ,1850 and 1930.

But, you never know, so let's wait for it

It's getting harder to read, since it doesn't want to complete a sequence in either direction...lol

I think we could see 1.115x if the break provides continuation - will see if its a fake or not. fake would usually take us to break the opposite end of the range...

Yep, I'd like to see 1.1447 - 1.2056 - 1.1026, but that is just one of many scenarios though...

I wonder, what should be/could be the catalyst to move EURUSD. No major news left for today for EUR and USD. Tomorrow we have GDP numbers for UK (GBP), which might take EUR with himself.

kiwi and cable are gone ..left Euro and Aud fight with dollar.. sooner or later those two will be gone too...my system are shorting both right now.. hope dollar either tests 95.50 again ,or better break north...
