you should have multiple entries not just one, Multiple small positions is a very good technique and is key to managing the trade and your money in the most efficient way

what about EG, is it too soon to look for shorts?

i like how price is reacting to the level, but i have a feeling i might regret shorting here

yeah that is one thing that still not in m comfort level, going small entries with no SL. maybe with time as i get more comfortable with entries i can do that, but for now i need to stick to the 2 entries. if i get Stopped out, no worries if trade is still valid i will look for re entry

If people use a hard stop loss you can always use a lot size calculator to give you your relevant lot sizes.

i use a hard stop loss and I like to base it just below/above R/S100 why? If price smashes 100 level we are in a strong trend which is fundamentally driven. Im only interested in trades from S/R 61-100 OR S/R 38 if the pair is ranging. I then go to my lot size calculator and fill out my details
pair traded
Account size
percentage I’m willing to risk (classic 1-2%)
stop loss (how far from my entry point to just above/below 100 level)
This then gives me my maximum lot size I should use.
From there I take my calculator and divide maximum lot size given by 5 or 6 (based on fact I want around 5-6 entries) the figure given will then be my lot size per trade.

If price goes pass R/S 100 and hits your SL but then then reverses to head to WP would you think about re-entry or would you let it go and wait for the next set-up?

yeah this is the exact same process i use, but i just divide into 2 entries at same time to i can set 2 TPs. maybe when i get around to take 10-15 trades using these Pivot Points,i will start doing multiple smaller entries, but for now i just try to pick the best entry point and go in there, with wide SL. i always risk 1%

All depends on the price action given. However more than likely I’d move on from that pair just for the sake it hasn’t done what I wanted it to do. The main thing of trading is preserving capital.

Rember also our TP level targets should be first the WP then the opposing 38 level. (This is what’s stated in our handbook on the first page)

but if its ranging from S38 to R38 back and forth, the would that make your first target still the WP or straight to the other 38 level?

Your point no 4. is enough to read from your post: The distance and perspective are important.
That is exactly what is this thread about. We trade in a distant zone 68-100, confirmed by PA.
You just fail to understand the obvious.

And if you have another way of spoting this, why to come and insult someone else system ?
Did you see somewhere written on this forum: "This is the only method how to make money forex trading ?"

As your status says: "FF is a waste of time"
Please make yourself (and all of us here) a favor, stop wasting time posting on FF.

Hmm well I never trade USDCHF myself, but that is some super tight SL dude. It is never a good idea to place stop-loss "in the zone".
Also as you take a look on H4 time-frame, look what levels were tested before.
This method is about high-probability set-ups. And in your trade I see only high probability stop-loss to be hit.
You put SL just slightly above 1.0024 = parity, do you think this is a good idea !??

We are basically in the "same" trade as I am long EURUSD.
But if I look into your trade in green and mine in red, I'm super relaxed with my 200 pips away hard stop compared to your 30 pips SL at parity...

Can you explain the benefits of multiple entries?
All I have seen is entries on practically one level with 3-5 pips difference. In fact it is the same as put one or two orders with the same summ lot.
I thought about opening different orders on different levels but what to do if price bounce from only one? Do you start placing orders as soon as you see PA on significant level?

yeah but assuming you get to TP on that 1, how much % will you make? if you hit SL , how much % will you mak

The benefit is that it reduces the size of losses. Say I want to risk 4 dollars per pip on at trade that reaches the 61R. I will divide 4 dollars by 10 which is .40 cents(.04 lot). So I will enter 10 entries but spread out. I will enter 3 entries at 61R if price goes against me to the 71 I can add more 2 or 3 more positions, f price keeps going to 100 I can ad more positions and then when price finally turns my positions are spread across the zone keeping me in the game.

If price drops right away from R61 I will add positions as price falls. SO it is like my 4 dollars per pip is spread out. If you entered a full 4 dollars per pip at the R61 and it went against you the drawdown will be bigger and you just stuck swimming in drawdown and watching you loss increase in a big as your trade goes deeper in red and you start kicking your dog and cursing your wife and then you see price goes to R78, at this point you are shaking in bed and you cannot respond to your wife because you are thinking about your red trade, then you wake up out of your sleep in the middle of the night to check your trade then you see it is at 100 and you start crying and there is nothing you can do but wait to get stopped out. youve locked urself out of the trade.

maybe not that dramatic, but i see your point lol. the key thing that you said is that if price bounces off 61, you add as it goes towards the pivot, that was the missing link for me
