yes,, closing shorts if rejected. No range break .. no lower close on day.. try again 168xish.. hold if below 1553.. the same plan as before.

I will short again later.. I went long because rejections can be violent. The q month week and day have closed lower.. Normally a very bearish sign. I closed and bought (smaller position) only because the range stayed intact. and bears were unable to close below 1553, after being below. I don't like to trade against rejections on the day close. It's not decisive for me.. but the reversal at 1.25 earlier this year was y, q, m, w bullish. Then it had a day rejection like today and dropped a thousand pips.. Since then.. I respect those more.. so I closed and bought this time. the same rule if it closes tomorrow below 1553.. I will then sell..

so far this rejection is different.. it hasn't went straight up..

You look like your doing it right. I had to close because above 1553. if it closed below tomorrow.. I will short too. Looking for a setup atm.. My long looks sickly atm.. it should have moved further already.. I will close if need be.. rejections usually bounce higher quicker.

Today close 1570, its lower close than Friday 1598...with this long cycle run.. bulls still has no power to break above . I am making my lunch money now..I let it run a little more.. .
Congratulation on your shorts.. you held your positions for so long... made a killing...

Giving back 40 pips is nothing.. the system started shorts at 1695. todays low 1529. that is 166 pips run,,,with 12 positions piling one after another.. .. I left so many pips on table... I don't want to talk about it....just be happy with win..

remember at 1.25xx it was making higher highs that last day. but it was unable to close above 250x. after being up to 255x.. it dropped 1000 pips after. this is why I went long. the closes are against my long. missing the close below 1553 is my only reason. I shock myself going against the closes. maybe we are just in the summer range.. w/o a L day close below 1553, or a close above 1755.5// its still range to me..

yes.. and the 12 hour (excluding day) is 1534 bears missed both today.. I thought they could pull off 1553, but it was unable to so far.
