hey reteid I can see you are a fast coder, have you ever looked at the omaally bbma system? Its kinda hard to understand the rules and it involves 3 timeframes for the better signals. The pdf is a translation from malay. I think the translator is either bad or it was translated from google.

However I have been following a group from telegraph, the admin makes sure everything is in English. He even made videos in English about 8 of them. The videos are very slow and tedious, he even talks about mm which is not necessary , but I sifted through and I am successfull at it now.

They have an EA already, actually 2 EA, one is more aggressive the other is not. They have copytrade etc.
There is also a member who made indicators and such for free but I dont think its good.

I cant use their Ea because they require that you register with XM a broker from cyprus. They dont accept American citizens.
The admin at telegram group said they are looking for an American broker for US citizens. But I dont know when that will be.

It is very successfull system. the only problem is its very hard to constantly look for setups and signals on 3 timeframes while going to work.

I have posted a setup yesterday on Eurjpy as an example and it worked.

anyway if you can make an indicator with alert when all conditions are met, it is very powerfull especially for scalping.

They have more complicated setups like "zero loss zone" and " csd(candle stick direction) on steroids" and others but just the basic bbma is more than enough.

let me post my prediction from the eurjpy.

I posted that on telegram group july 30th 9.22 pm.

Look at monthly first.

CSD means candle stick direction. CSD has taken place when the price crosses and closes above mid bb and linear weighted moving average 5,10 high(this is for bullish csd) it doesnt have to break above 50 ema(50 ema is for trend direction)
that is the first thing I look for(not necessary but I find this is easy to find setups)
The second thing to look for is a "reentry" on the same tf. "reentry" is a pullback to the LNW moving average 5,10 low(this is for bullish setup)
Look at the monthly where I put a rectangle and marked reentry. the price pulled back to Lnw ma 5,10 low + mid bb + 50 ema(now this is a stronger reentry) so the mid bb and 50 ema are bonuses.

now weekly
After reentry occurs on the higher we have to find what we call an "extreme" in the lower tf. Now I wont go into the different type of extremes, there are about 4 of them. Extreme is basically when price+ma goes out of top or low bb. The bollinger bands jop is to keep price and ma inside, if they go out it might be a signal for reversal/price to go back inside.
If lnw ma 5 low/high goes out of bottom or top bb than it is extreme A (they changed this rule now every type of extreme is just called an extreme) In the case of our weekly chart we have extreme A. so we are good. now all we have to do is go down 1 more tf and see if we have an extreme there as well. But as you can see weekly has a csd and reentry as well( this is even better)

lets look at Daily

Daily we have what we used to call extreme C (this is when price goes down to 50 ema when 50 ema is close to bottom or top bb and rejects it(closes above/below it)

at this point we can open a buy trade or wait for price to go down for reentry to 5,10 ma low for a better price. Or you can go down another tf and pinpoint entry.

So I did look at 4hr tf

We have CSD and I marked the reentry area for entering market.

now look at the present 4hr pic. I marked where our entry was with a red horizontal line.

Now for sl and tp it is totaly optional but if I enter on 4hr I go for daily top/low bb depends if trade is buy or sell. Sl is just below the moving average 5,10.

There is more to the system.

it goes like this for 1 tf setup.

extreme, tpwajip(must take profit), Mhv( market loss volume means price was unable to break above/below top/low bb after extreme) , CSD, REENTRY, CSM(candle stick momentum, occurs when price cross and close top/bottom bb) , reentry----extreme and cycle continues.

They also have codes for setups. The setup I explained above is R,E,E

Monthly R(reentry)
Weekly E(extreme)
Daily E(extreme)

the other codes are
R,E,M M stands for mhv(market loss volume)
R,R,E reentry , reentry extreme

So as you can see there is a lot to it. But i just use basic reentries, if everything shows that market is bullish I just use reentries at the lnw 5,10 low as reentry buy and tp at top bb. reverse for sells.

there is alot you can do just by verifying setups like I showed u.

p.s. you can start from any tf. for example you can start form daily and go to 4hr and 1hr etc. But I like to start from monthly and try to use the codes all the way down to 5min. Its not always possible. But eurjpy was the only solid setup that started from monthly, for this week.

Minimum 7 indicators? How many are used in total is something I would be concerned with. In my EA coding experiments; I have realized that not all of the indicators are equal, especially in the quality of signal and mixing them you may end up averaging out their success rate. If I am not mistaken, we have easy access to price history and volume indicators. The indicators created end up as derivatives of price history, and can show the same thing just with varying delay periods based on the relationship with smoothness and lag.

I appreciate you sharing some of your wonderful work, thank you. It seems you are unsure of exit conditions? I may be of some assistance in that area if needed, but I am not for 'taking' lol

Can you add an option to reverse or close on opposite signal? The way it behaves now is buys and sells mixed together and I'm not sure I'd be able to test it like that

No....7 or more signals buy->buy and vice versa....

Hi...when should I read this all? I reads like the history of a traders life...

But interesting strategy...dl the indicator but the signals are not so promising and very rare....
I don t know if the effort is worth the strategy....

If you take trade by thease indicators you will never know whenb to exit. After 5 pips or 100 pips? When you exit by oposite indicator signal it will be late

Can the multi trend signal - actual period.ex4 be adjusted so that the font size and scaleX and scaleY are adjustable like in the original?

Which indicator did you downld? If you talking about shiitakes already said its not good, besides it only detects signals that make up the whole setup. Those signals from indi are not entry signals. Thats why i asked u to make indi. I mentioned in my post that i cant get access to ea because i have to register with a broker that wont except us citizens . They have the pdf at the telegram group and vids to fully understand the strategy. But it takes some effort, so you might have to read more than what i wrote in my first post
