FF need think twice about making the indicator available to the public. Once an effective trading tool/method is made available to the public, its efficacy is likely to diminish, depending on what type of tool/method it is. Your indicator is in this category. I witnessed this phenomenon twice at China stock market.
Back in 2000s, Shanghai Stock Exchange launched DDX data service. That is, for each stock traded, they provide information on % of big orders and small orders for buy and sell volume respectively. Initially, strategies based on it achieved smashing success. However, 6 months later, that success diminished, and later totally disappeared as institutions adapted to the change and adjusted their strategy.
The 2nd time it happened was when Shanghai Stock Exchange launched TopView data service. They classified buy and sell volume for each stock into volume of big account/institution, medium accounts, and small accounts/retail trader. They provide this data with two days' delay, ie, information of Monday will be available to the subscribers after market close on Wednesday. Again, strategies based on it achieved smashing success initially. However, institutions quickly adapted to this change and adjusted their strategy. So, its efficacy for short term trading diminished and eventually disappeared. For long term trading its efficacy still existed yet diminished. Eventually under the pressure from institutions, Shanghai Stock Exchange suspended the TopView data service.
So, you need think twice. On the other hand, if you don't launch it, your friends at the commercial section will launch their copy cat operations. You have some serious deliberation to do. It's like Harmlet deliberating "To be or not to be".
The ball is at your side.
