Day 162

Last night had 2 overcommitted positions almost throw me off the boat. The good thing have i had them cut and go into the correct side of the wave. All lost was made back plus a little bit more.

I didn't like it at all because I felt I wasn't in control of my positions, and that often leads to the bad start of a series mistakes.

While we embrace our gain, for the time being, the patient will still need to play the key rule in my future trading.

Day 159

Came up this USDJPY setup for today's NFP trade and hopped for a bad job number to drop. But, the numbers turned out to be okay. Closed the trade w/ a tiny win.


#Forex #NFP is due in couple hrs. I'll be expecting a set of worst than expected job numbers and see a further weakness in $USDJPY below 109.00. If the numbers come out to be excellent, a re-visit to 110.00 or beyond is expected.

This week I will be looking out on the 1.3500 level for a possible 3-way split

I like how you treat FX trading seriously
i hope you make it to a day where you can make 5k + a day , don't limit yourself
try to break through as fast as possible even though you gonna fail more you will start to know the feeling of making the big money
have a high risk account to train your emotion handling .
i know you have family so you can not go overboard with your trading, but as i say don't limit yourself

and is not like you have to quit your job to trade.
i trade and have a shitty job. I make 10 times more then my current job and no one know that . Having a job while trading is good because i spent little to no focus on the market to prevent myself to overtrade.
The money i made a day from trading, that's like less then 3 hours of trading . = a One month of $ i get from my job
I felt like a slave when having a job but it helps me control my trades which is wonderful.
well the money is over 10x but who cares.


the first year of my trading i lost 5k in one day and i cried like a baby
now i lost 15k a day i felt ok not so bad not doesn't happen much

What i learned is that having breakthroughs is good even tho is hard

In a world of the blind, the one-eyed man is the king.

Someone told me this line this weekend w/ one of the conversions I had w/ a fellow trader friend. To put it in the context, I think we all need to distance ourselves from the losers and surrender yourself w/ traders w/ the winning attitudes in trading. At a rate of 95 ppl out of 100
lose money in this business, it’s too easy for you to find a crowd to give yourself a sense of self-comforting in exchange to find out, dig out what is really holding u back from being improved or profitable.

I said before and I say it again. Comfortable is the biggest enemy to progress. If you are not in a state of constant discomfort in the first 12-36 months (depends on how much involvement you have) learning and mastery ur craft and adapt the market terrain, most likely, you are doing it wrong.

I started trading when I was 26. Almost none of my friends knew what was getting myself into. It's an interesting path we are taking which we invest our future and dream in. It's a brave thing to do. I hope our paths lead us the same destination. There still will be setbacks in the future either in the trade or in life that might have the huge impact in our ways of trading (for example, having a family and kids), and I hope we stay strong and don't give up.

I made the choice to pursue FX w/o having another day job and pretend I cared about the irrelevant things that job asked me to do.

It has been a month I left the office where I stayed for many years, as far as I can tell, I am in the best days of my life right now where i can be truthful to myself and no divided attention doing what I have been loving to do including trading, networking and helping others in the community.

next week I will be moving onto the 2k account trading again as I am kinda getting into my zone again on the small account for the past 2 weeks.

So I just finished the 50th trade one of my accounts. I already have the summary up and will have it posted by the end of this week.
I am also planning to come up a weekly event on this thread, so it helps ppl to see and expect what to come.

these will be included in my sections either in writing or video

1. FF Q&A (from the threads I read or from the questions you inbox me)
2. Weekly trade summary
3. Monthly summary (maybe, if there is still things left to say after I finish doing the weekly summaries)
4. 50-trade summary
5. my thoughts on FX related subjects on FX trading, productivity, or entrepreneurship in FX trading in modern days (either on here or one of the social media app like the Instagram, snapshot or Youtube. I am still deciding on which one and how to do it correctly)
6. Trades I pulled (if it's any good and easy to understand)
7. some motivational quotes or book quotes from what I read throughout the week
8. Maybe toss in some live trade live streaming and get in touch w/ fellow traders for some kicks. (i don't know about this one yet although my live stream is now fully setup and function, we will see)
