I play north coast NI. (royal portrush/portstewart etc)

Entry method pretty simple, trend up BUY, down SELL. Watch for news.
It basic mathematics. if market is trendless, win is 50%,as its a coin toss. When open (8am) is trending win rate is 80%+. So, combined you have edge if you manage positions accordingly. Something around 100pips a week is totally feasible, more importantly low stress.
From a broker in City Friend i learned long time ago there are around 90% more stops than TP in market, they are very underused. How many times a spike take out your SL, in this way, spikes take out our TP. (perfect e.g look at todays,just touched the TP)

Thread will prove simple works.

Sentiment is lagging indicator, like them all.
If I wait for GBP strength or weakness to show on this, trade would be over. Hence,why traders fail. By the time signal confirmation, its ready to turn.
I make a rule of trading it every day as I dont trade any other pair.
In this way, you have more data points to analyse, increases robustness in all conditions. I dont have patience to wait for every perfect storm.

I see your point and I agree with you to some extent, it is all about probability. Here is another sentiment indicator:

as you can see from above picture, both USD and GBP are gaining power, while, for example, JPY is losing power. If I find a BUY setup on USDJPY, it is more probable to be profitable if I trade it.

Yep, each to their own system. If you like this method of sentiment then great.
