Your indicators are fine except I do not use SHI_SilverTrendSig, also try adding in fibs...

From the 1 hour charts for all the majors, it seems that everything is range bound or consolidating this afternoon. Even if you get the EMA Cross along with the RSI, would you still consider initiating a trade?

Thanks for the interest/support! I'm still testing a few things out, so I dont have an exact timeline as to when it will be released. I dont like to offer anything until I'm 100% convinced that it works!

Raczek.... What method do you use to trade the GBP/JPY?

Pure price action with a trend, since yen is used for carry trades.
I also had some counter trend trades, but they carry considerable amount of risk, so I will not discuss it.

I clicked the terminal button on the top bar...the terminal opens at the bottom...then I right clicked the "alerts" tab. There is not a choice for "create" as you said. ???

You can be able to set sound alerts by MT4 on the terminal button where it say Alerts. You can right clik and chose {create} any and all you wish to. Hope this help you some.

The AUD/USD pair has (had?) formed a double-tracking decline "look" to the 4-HR and 1HR chart. And, I do think that the recent spike-up to form the 2nd track is an anomaly . . . the 1HR and 4Hr chart are developing along the lines of Track 1.

The next few hours will likely tell the tale which track the pair will follow . . . I do think it be a short op.

For what it's worth . . . or not

I'm getting use to MT4 but still having probs. I've found that some indicators load and work but some don't. I'm using an EA I downloaded on this forum called AX512EMACROSSw/RSI . It shows arrows for the 5/12 EMA crossovers and Dots for RSI crosses that are < or > 50.
Is there a way that I can get this EA to generate an audible alert when one or both of these crossover events happen??? I REALLY need this to work for me so I can trade this system. I have a day job but see that I miss good entry opportunities during the London session. I want to be awaken by a signal that happens then. I've looked over the forums for a thread that would help me but just can't find anything. I'm hoping to connect with someone here that's struggled through this themselves and now willing to assist another. Anyone?

If this is the only thread, you ever read and practice setups, you will be a successful trader.
I strongly believe it to contains invaluable information, of much higher value, than you find in various trading books. I know, I read quite a few of them in the last 12 years.

Hats off to you, James16 for sharing this information.

I follow some of that aussie chart, the parts I cant' figure out are the trigger lines, i'm wondering if you could briefly explain what they are referring to.

right click any blank area IN the alert tab area not on that word alert. maybee better easier for you if i tell you do right click on the word symbol in there

hi stoka,
you can just ignore them (unrelated to bago system), as I forgot to remove them before posting chart.
email me if you need more info, but those were just areas closely watched for possible trades.

hi, i downloaded your indicator, when I drag it to chart, nothing happens,
I tried compiling, any clues what the problem is.

The mq4 is a EA. So put it in the C:\Program Files\MT4\experts directory.

Drag the EA onto yr chart. U won't find any indicators on the chart.

so I saw mention of it texting or emailing when the cross happens,
how would I have it do that?
