OK. Paper trade. Get an options trade analyzer (TOS great so learn to use it) and watch your trades every day until you close or til expiry. It's just paper money so put on lots of trades. Learn to trade the various spreads. Post your trades here and I will comment or give pointers on some of them. Good luck.

TWTR in an interesting place with ER before the Friday open 7/27. TWTR has been volatile lately so maybe that will revisit the earnings play. The iv's ramp up for the options in the ER week. So now you have to pay $1 for a Jul20/27 $40 put calendar, but the same for Jul27/Aug3 is just 20c +/-. If you watch the iv's as the ER date draws closer, this disparity may become more pronounced....might be able to get in 27/03 calendars for even less. If they get set well otm you could own a week of chance with the long puts. Worst case you have to pay a little to close the itm calendar if TWTR moves hard on the ER. I will be watching...

tried today to get into a GM double calendar - Jul20/27 both sides, $41 calls and $37 puts. Only the calls were filled at 30c, will shop the puts some more....GM ER 7/25....

bullish trades are in decent profit today and I'm looking for the exit, not gonna wait for a perfect finish and see these die in another tweet whipsaw. Looking for 24c from the 8c calendar and 80c from the 20c fly

Nadex are futures derivatives and thus get around the day trader rule since they're not equities derivatives. My spreads are just pre-built verticals. I did do a shotgun blast going long on the EUR/USD with binaries at the NY open this morning that paid off well.

The DIA $248/250/252 call calendar had a perfect finish as DIA pinned +/- $250 most of the day, will punish myself later & see how much I could have made....

I took it off for 80c and it went to $2.30+ with expiry perfect finish. Just wish I had put on enough digits to let some run....
