Hi,
I will post my trades here for my GBPUSD system, I hope to average 100pips a week. System trades normally at 8am London time with 2 positions, 25pip TP and 50pips TP. Exit any trades pre news. (never advantage holding into news as house edge moves massively in broker favour as spreads go wildly high and fills are disastrous. SL will always get worst fill with chronic slippage and TP get perfect fill. I.e asymmetrical slippage)
Stop loss goes to breakeven on trade2 once the +25pips is filled on trade1. System is manual, I don't use EA. Trades closed at 5pm London Time if SL and TP not met.

I will publish myfxbook to track it.
Stop loss 1.5pips above below latest swing high/lo.
I trade on naked chart, no indicators. I use current trend only and watch for fundamentals very carefully.
Stop loss are placed using lowest lows etc.
100pips a week might not sound much but only 1 pair with low exposure its quite rewarding.
Problem I see a lot of newbies hop from one pair to another. Need to take one instrument and master it.

Beauty about this style is trades are often over inside a few hours, its doesn't require intensive screen time. No much point to be pro trader if you're hogged to a screen day and night. Live your life. Personally I trade anywhere from 500k-$1M dispersed in a mixture of brokers (Spreadbets/ECN/etc) but it can be traded from 1k lots!

Don't know this system, so can't comment if similar or not,
Post 2 states SL for today,
I use 30M for trend direction.

100 pips is plenty if you can make it weekly with a floor at 70 pips and ceiling at 130 pips with the median set at 100 pips then yeh worth a fortune
as u know the secret is in keeping the pips .. everyone can make em but keeping em thats the skill

It is when DD is around 150pips.

I posted at 8am. Bar opened at 1,3309 but I got 1.3309+1,3306. Price dropped 3 pips in first second of 8am bar.

I disagree, you need to synchronize your Broker/Computer/Local time.
London and Lagos are the same time at the moment and Frankfurt ALWAYS, REPEAT, ALWAYS opens before London.

8am London Time.
I think i know when 8am in London is, I live in UK.

Forex Factory time stamp clearly shows original post time, which is what I use to check times. On my browser FF time directly corresponds to my local time. This tells me exactly what time post was made.
• My time is US CDT. Post shows 2am (0200).
• US CDT is 6 hours behind London.
• 0200 + 6hrs =0800, unless I'm missing something.

So if London Open is not 8:00 am, what time is London Open?
Maybe London and Frankfurt time is now the same as Lagos and London time is the same some times every year?

I still maintain your Entry bar was before 8am London time my screenshots are clear enough, Except your part of the UK is 1 hour ahead of London but if it isn't maybe you are relaying some borrowed calls?

Yes what you are missing is that the call was given in the middle of a Bearish bar, he posted at 8am quite alright but at that time the preceding M30 bar was bearish. The Bullish bar that could have given a buy signal was @ Frankfurt open.

dude chill out about london and frankfurt opening times, its irrelevant what time they open.
I am not saying its again. Normal time to open is 8am london. Today looks like 830am bar.

I closed this trade for -17pips (-8.5X2)
Trade is reversing and lost momentum.
+116 pips for week.
Awkward day with limited price action.
Trade Explorer and myfxbook links there now.

It seems that GBP is not so much more powerful than USD which makes me not trading this pair today. But I like your signals and I am watching your TE.
