Firstly, thank you for a very, very valuable tool!

Secondly, please tell me straight if my suggestions are out of line based on the hard work you've put into this EA.

My suggestion is mainly based on the "wicks & ticks" issue, but also on the fact that only one EA is allowed on a chart, hence 8 EURUSD charts with 8 EA's as well as 8 offline charts to view all LFX's (not that you want to do that necessarily...), just some serious admin work. And that is still all in one TF...

Please tell me if I'm wrong, but an LFX chart would basically be the same as a basket chart of the combined pairs of a specific currency, but with some pairs inverted to compensate for the base/quote differences, right?

If so, why not take an offline basket creator indicator like this...

...to create an LFX Indicator instead of an EA?

Unfortunately, I have absolutely no coding experience whatsoever, so I'm not able to do it myself. I did change the Basketv8 indi though to include the C8 basket that GVC trades and some other baskets that I don't trade. A big thank you to GVC for modifications made to the above 2 indicators in Kosomolate's Still Basketting thread.

For those who want to see it at work, you can attach the Basketv8 indicator to any chart of any time frame (but preferably a pair with high tick rate like GBPJPY), select your basket number (5, 8 or 14) and the TF and then open the offline chart just as you normally would. Now, for example, if you want to generate the M15, H1 and H4 charts of the C8 basket, you drag 3 instances of the Basketv8 indi into the same chart and just change the settings to the different TF's. The Multipair Average indicator must be placed on an online chart - it doesn't work on an offline chart. I normally place both indi's in the same chart.

This is a suggestion to possibly streamline the LFX charts and not to introduce a new direction of this thread. There are hundreds of posts in the basketting threads about these and other indicators, so please don't bomb this thread with questions if you don't understand these indicators and what they do.

Version 1.45 released (I updated Post 1). In this version,
1. The EA uses the standard functions of the kernel32 for file operations to deal with brokers who offer symbols with suffixes such as "EURUSD..r" that cannot be handled with FileOpenHistory() of MQL4.

Version 1.45 beta seems a bit unstable MT. It often freezes the platform for a solid minute after removing either the chart its applied to, or the indicator itself.
Also, after the above happens and i reload the indicator, to generate the same LFX chart as the one it freezed on, i get an error stating "couldn't open history file: CADLFX15.hst"(example).

Previous version worked fine but i had problems with the CAD index; it simply copied the USD/CAD prices, without creating the actuall index. Was hoping that this verious might have solved that problem! thanks for the effort in this project.

Edit: hold on, so you are saying version 1.45 only works on brokers that uses different suffixes? If that's the case i will be using earlier versions, but i am still hoping CADLFX will have a look at in the future. Would be much appreciated!

Thanks for reporting the bug. This version is experimental and I am collecting all the bug reports observed by the users (and me) to fix them and release a stable version.

Version 1.47 released (I updated Post 1). In this version,
1. I fixed the bug causing MT4 to freeze (abnormal termination error).
2. CADLFX index is now calculated correctly.

First, thanks a lot for this EA. Is anyway we can get as external variable the values 0,1,or 2 according to the pairs to be traded and be able to use it with DASHBOARD EAX as a PIN ?

Let me detail a little. For example, let say I want to trade AUDCAD following indexes AUDLFX, CADLFX with any indicator we have already for PIN, for example TDI, and I want to buy AUDCAD as soon as AUDLFX ready for BUY TDI, and CADLFX ready for SELL, in that case the external variable will be 1 ( for SELL external variable = 2, and no signal = 0 )

Note: the LFXJPY index is the only one that should be align in the same direction of another indexes to be ready for trade, example if we want to BUY EURJPY ,EURLFX and LFXJPY should be BUY.

I think it is possible to create an indicator that outputs the LFX values. I am, however, busy with other projects at the moment. I may give it a try in the future.

When you get time let me know if is possible built offline charts for renko and period multiplier ( like D3,D6,D9, MN3,MN6,MN9 etc ) having already the indexes data from this EA.

Are you aware Liteforex formula for USD is not correct? Is missing NZD from the formula and don't know if they updated.

here the correct USD formula:

Yes, I knew it but since their USDLFX chart is created using the "incorrect" formula and I wanted to reproduce the same, I didn't use the "correct" formula. I may add it as an option to the next version.
