{quote} Exchanges don't provide leverage for trading, poloniex(HIGHLY UNSECURED BROKER) is providing leverage i guess but very low.

Agree. Exchanges give a small leverage. From brokers I can recommend NordFX-they give a leverage of 1: 1000.

I saw that JFD Brokers just reintroduced CFDs on BTCUSD to its offering. I am planning to observe its conditions for a while and maybe will try it out live.

FOREX.com UK* offers Bitcoin trading against the US dollar (BTC/USD), the euro (BTC/EUR), the British pound (BTC/GBP) and the Australian dollar (BTC/AUD).

We also recently introduced Ethereum to expand our cryptocurrency offerings.

* While spot Ethereum and Bitcoin trading are not available through FOREX.com US at this time, US residents now have access to Bitcoin futures trading.

IG Index in the UK, But there are fundamental issues with Bitcoin and other Crypto Currencies. It's a massive money spinner for them at the moment because of the huge spread's and the idiots not knowing this and piling in anyway.

1:1000 leverage, worst support. Trying to lure us to forgotten land. Go and advertise your scam somewhere else.

To the point you can try Tickmill or Hotforex, margin requirement is 20% a standard among FX brokers, nice execution

First of all, Forex brokers don’t usually allow direct cryptocurrency trading, they offer cryptocurrency CFDs. Second, if you want to trade crypto CFDs after all you should keep in mind that according to a mandate issued by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA)
all EU brokers will lower the leverage of such CFDs to 2:1 starting from August 1st.

Dukascopy Bank is regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA .
Since Dukascopy Bank is in Switzerland, which is not a member state of the EU, it will NOT apply ESMA restrictions (neither on leverage, nor on binary options or others).
Dukascopy offers CFDs on Bitcoin.

For what is worth...

Never though in using a broker, I went directly to the exchanges:
In America most people use Bitrex (I have account with them), Coinbase(Gdax) as well and in Europe Bitfinex.
Of course there are many, basically what makes you to have several accounts with exchanges is that they offer different cryptocurrencies.
Binance is gaining popularity but haven't open account with them.

To move funds between exchanges you can do that trough your wallet (again, there are several, I believe the biggest is Coinbase)

To be frank, not sure what would be the Benefit of having a broker for Cryptos.

Key reasons people use us to trade cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple and Bitcoin Cash are the ability take short positions and to use leverage to magnify gains and losses in the same account where you can trade other markets including forex, indices, shares and commodities.*

Who is @JGalt?

* Contracts for Difference (CFDs) are not available to US residents. Spot Gold and Silver are not subject to regulations under the US Commodity Exchange Act.

They used to have tight spreads on BTC/USD and I was making a killing. Then one day went to trade and the minimum stop had changed to 200 pips and the spread widened to 50 pips.....too risky GGGRRR!
Don't wait for the wind, take to the oars.

I know a Forex broker, Coinexx, who offers trading in almost 25 crypto currencies. They also accept deposit and withdrawals in the major digital coins such as Ripple, Ethereum and Bitcoin.

Pleiadian is right. Due to the specifics of the crypto instruments, i.e. wider spreads, higher volatility and huge margin requirements, it is quite risky to enter this market.
