Thank you for starting this thread Ill-b-back. I am sure traders will find it very informative. I was wondering if you have a link to the thread of Bones where he has described his strategy?

Jim Brown and Mark Douglas have helped me most in my trading journey. Mark Douglas deals with the psychology of trading as was mentioned above and Jim Brown is a trend based forex trader. He has explained his trading method in his second book. But you have to be very patient and should trade on higher time frames in order to execute Jim's method successfully.

Set your standards higher if you want to compete against the world's best traders like Soros, Dalio and Renaissance. Because retail traders are competing against the likes of them on a daily basis.

The guy is still a noob with his 16,000 plus posts here.... Still looking for the holy grail..

What I don't get is a lot follow the likes of Davshit... He says he made so much last month...

So why hasn't all the followers who follow him on a daily basis.... Yes, their is something not quite right.

The noobs still believe everything they see........

I took notice of how he viewed the markets before he started his thread, then formed my own view using his framework as a starting point.
Bones and I have had many, many disagreements over the years about our view of the market at any particular time, but I can't deny his higher time frame view has made my journey so much easier.

I agree, I enjoy a good verbal stoush from time to time.

Gets a bit tedious and boring however, when you realise you're in the ring with someone who's brought nothing more than jealous envy.

What I find particularly encouraging about Davits' thread, is how quite a few other traders he has helped, show their results which percentage wise, often exceed those achieved by Davit.

Despite the ill-informed views to the contrary of 1 or 2 others.

Yep very good, what he says makes sense.
I have been thinking in longer term probabilities this past 6 months and it makes the whole trading process of wins and losses much easier to accept.
I still have a small urge to revenge trade or over leverage every now and then, but by documenting these experiences in my journal, seeing the trades and the negative consequences, I'm reminded that seeking maximum short term gain (for my approach), is unhealthy.

Brief Fact check:
1) I don't trade Davits System (I've said this quite a few times now).

2) What obligation has Davit got to show a TE, or have his live holdings Tracked? Are you and Neils going to put shit on every trader who has a thread just because they don't have a trade explorer?
{Where's your TE? Why can't we track your live results?}
{Should we start putting shit on you because you are not transparent about all live/current details of your account?}

3)I have no idea what Davits ass looks like, but I do like what he has offered to so many traders here on FF (which is shown by the large number of appreciative posts offered by others in his thread). So when I see such brainless, poorly researched, vindictive attacks thrown at him, I like to respond.
Simples....

You guys say he and his followers are clueless noobs. I'm sure many over in his thread are (many have been removed as he only wants traders with at least 2 years experience contributing).
But he is very transparent about how he trades combining pivot techs and fundamentals, gives his views on particular pairs most weeks, and history shows he has been accurate.
Many of his thread contributors also show good results.

In short, we have a trader contributing to the FF community in a very positive way, (which is rare), and all some can do is hurl abuse at him, triggered by someone being removed from his thread (VEEFX).
