USDCHF – Consolidation under the Broken Trend line

Last time I was writing about the USDCHF currency pair when it was on the key resistance at 1.0030, which is also the high from the second half of last year. As can be seen in the daily chart below, enough offers appeared on the resistance to push the pair into the trend line running from the bottom of the current year.
In the past week, the trend line has been broken and since then the price has been under it. However, you can not see the continuation of declines, because the price is stuck in consolidation, which is more visible in the 1-hour chart.
Quotations after testing the broken trend line as a new resistance move within the range of which the lower limit is in the area of 0.9830. If therefore, the declines are to be continued, we should first see the effective breaking of the lower band of this range.
Another key level of defence after breaking out is visible only around 0.9646. In the case of rebound from 0.9830, and then overcome the zone at 0.9892, buyers will again have to face the broken trend line.

GBPUSD – Outside Bar and where now? – 11/06/2018

I must admit that after reviewing the charts of a dozen or so pairs this weekend, it was difficult to point out where the situation clearly would give grounds to indicate the direction the chart will follow in the new week. In my analysis, I stick to three strategies based on Price Action, and only GBPUSD seemed to me interesting in this respect...

EURUSD - Triangle and iH&S

EURUSD since mid-April this year was moving south, drawing 7 consecutive weekly bearish candles. At the beginning of June returned to growth and despite the Wednesday decision of the FED raising interest rates to 2% and quite dynamic but short-term declines, the day ended with a 40 pips growth.On the H4 chart, we can see that for few days the pair is in consolidation, whose bottom and the upper limit formed a triangle.
Breaking from this formation may lead to further increases for which the nearest resistance may be the lower edge of the bearish channel (red dotted), which the pair left on May 1, and two weeks later tested from the bottom with a distinct pinbar.When we look closely at the graph – we can see a formation of inverted Head & Shoulders forming, where the neck line runs at 1.1840, and the shoulder line at 1.1725. In this case, the formation is pro-growth and supports the above-described scenario.
It is less likely in my opinion to break the bottom of the consolidation, but if the market decides so, it may aim at support at the level of 1.1640.

Gold – at the 1.5 year Old Trend Line

Although recently GOLD prices are moving in consolidation, the chart shows some chances to end this malaise. At high time intervals, it can be seen that the rate is right next to the 1.5 year old trend line, the fragment of which we can see on the daily chart. The pair currently has a period of 2 months of decline. In this context, consolidation may mean a kind of accumulation phase, i.e. preparation for the next move. According to the trend, one would expect upward movement. It seems that the signal for this would be breaking above the resistance in the area of 1307.00. For now, we are watching an attempt to attack this level.

USDJPY – breaks out from a bullish channel – 21/06/2018

USDJPY – recently on this pair on the lower TF there is quite a lot of chaos if we look at it from the technical analysis point of view. So let’s look at the weekly chart where from a greater perspective you can see that the pair moves in a triangle whose sides several times served as resistance in the upper case and support in the case of the lower arm.When going to the H4 chart, we can see that for several weeks the pair was moving in the growth channel from which left it on19.06 in a rather dynamic style creating a local minimum at the level of 109.55.Analyzing the H1 chart, we can use the EMA144 strategy, because the situation in the chart quite well meets the assumptions of this strategy.

GBPUSD – Outside Bar heralds bullish correction – 22/06/18

Since April 17 this year when GBPUSD set the maximum at 1.4370, the pair almost continuously moves in a downward trend. Yesterday, after reaching 1.3090, intense increases began. Yesterday’s daily candle had 170 pips and its range completely engulfed the previous one. A formation of engulfing Outside Bar was formed. It has a clearly bullish character and promises a change in market sentiment and a very probable upward correction.

Looking at the situation on the chart in terms of PA+MACD strategy, we can see that the bullish character of Outside Bar confirms the created minimum on the MACD oscillator and its growing value. In addition, there is a bullish divergence between the price and the mentioned MACD oscillator which also supports the probability of increases.

EURUSD – Fakey on support Confluence

The range from Tuesday is the mother candle, which entirely includes trade during the Wednesday session, which gives us the formation of the inside bar. In turn, yesterday there was an attempt to break the bottom of the range, which turned out to be unsuccessful, and additionally, the day candle closed above the maximum inside the bar. Thus, the above-mentioned Fakey formation was formed, which gives potential for growth towards 1.1840.

AUDUSD – Possible Bullish Correction – 25/06/2018

... On the daily chart, we notice that Friday’s upward daily candle is accompanied by a change on MACD which starts to grow. A similar situation also appeared on GBPUSD, which I described in the analysis of 22.06. In addition, between the price graph and the MACD oscillator, there is a divergence indicating growth. There are met 3 conditions of the PA+MACD strategy … hence the conclusion that further increases are very likely...

Silver – Towards the South – 03/07/2018


Bias on SILVER is bearish. First, there was a sudden halt, which was interesting that it happened again at the line connecting the series of earlier peaks. And last week the downward wave broke the readable and well-respected level of support, based on a whole series of previous lows. Last Friday there was a pullback, which can be considered as a re-test, and yesterday the price has rebounded from the zone that currently acts as a resistance. Judging by the wider view, even on a weekly chart, one can expect that the rate will continue to move south.

GBPUSD – Bullish Divergence and Inside Bar – 04/07/2018

GBPUSD – after reaching maximum in mid-April at 1.4375, the pair moved in a downward trend and after losing 1325 pips reached the minimum of this year at 1.3050. Since the beginning of this month, weak corrective movements are under way. The last growth candle of June with range 150p formed the Inside Bar formation (chart on the left), because the quotations in the following days did not go beyond its range.
