This video is taken by from screen which is why no sound.
I do understand that most people will not believe my back test result even when I post a video.

Good question. There are a lot of things that I want to share with the community as I have benefited a lot for the sharing by other traders over the years.

Point #1 - It is possible to create an EA that is profitable over a very long time.

I have read many threads which question and asked for EA result for more than 10 years. So far I have seen non. So there you go.

I will continue to share more along the way but first, I need all of you to read with open mind.

anybody can have 1000 times more win then you in backtest. so your backtest is a just normal backtest you can see many many many times. whats special in this?
its only a backtest. nothing more. and a very bad same time, because you dont have ask and bid prices used for backtest and for each volume you trade the bid and ask, then at least it would be a little bit ok.

but always: any backtest is very very very easy to cheat that you win 10000 times then you have, simple by hardcoding it in when you dont trade. so backtests really show nothing because of this,

so only you can know if its good (noone else can trust you or this person is a beginner or crazy) , but only when done correct, not this simple way you did it with just bid prices, then a scalper would win dramatic and has normally 100 times your win when not programmed bad, because can use this backtest problems.

test it in live trading 1 year and you will see what will happen! demo trading is also not usefull, better live cent account with extrem small money inside.

This is what i think.

For manual traders, they come out with a strategy by looking at the chart, price action, news, etc.
One thing that is necessary is that all information is processed by their brains before they come out with their so called strategies.

For EA traders, instead of using just the brain, we make use of computing power to analysis the strategy, review why it works and why it doesn't and retest again the strategy.

I always believe that back testing is very important.
It lets the traders to see the result fast and to fail fast so that he can throw away his strategy when it doesn't work.
Of course when it works, we then need to move on to a demo and live trading to earn real cash.

It will be sad really for a manual trader to only realize his mistakes and shortcoming of his strategy after many years without back testing.
I've been through that really and i hope that you will not repeat the same mistake as me which is why i'm willing to share.

I dont use any EAs and dont care about them, but I just want to say that all EA sellers always show pretty demo or back-test history but never real life results.

I have seen an ea that could print millions in back test but not make any profit in real life.

What is the backtest period?
It is easy to find a strategy that can work for less than 10 years, but very difficult to find one that can work for 18 years.
I have tested more than 100 strategies before finalizing on this current set up.

very very very wrong!

each scalper work for this 18 years time so easy (of course all fake wins, like most backtests with metatrader when not done perfect correct in dependency to the tested strategy). because you use the spread of this time and former times the spread was much higher you produce billions of win in backtest over some years, over the older years trillions of win (metatrader bid prices and 1 min bars, so easy without tickdate and ask and bid prices)! think first, then backtest, without thinking your backtest get the total worthless results.

that you did not see 18 years long backtest with ega results show you are extrem new in trading and have to learn whats a backtest, whats basics in trading, what a backtest in metatrader can show and WHAT it cant show!!! at the moment you dont look like you know any point of this and are proud that you have results anybody have with backtest who know how to use mistakes in backtester.

You may be right if i'm a scalper but i'm not.
I do not use 1 min chart in my EA.
Anyway since this is the start of my trading journal, please continue to follow my demo account.

For those that think demo and live results is very different, please help to highlight any of my trade that will perform differently.
I have shared my trade explorer so it's transparent.

where have you linked your live account? demoaccount is showing nothing, why do you think any scammer and faker is using demoaccount? because you can cheat there all wins whatever you want, because of the many differences between real and demo account.

This EA can work perfectly without 1 min chart with a tight stop loss.
One of my strategies actually has a stop loss of 13pips with 80pips take profit.
And of course I need to pair it up with another strategy which has say 60 SL with 40 TP.
By creating these basket of different SL and TP point and different entry point, I am able to reduce the overall DD.

As you can see, i'm currently using MT4 for my backtesting.
My live account is MT5 which i'm trying to learn how to code it and also to compare before I active auto trading.
It should be completed by end of this year as I have no rush with a decent account size of 5 digit.

From my back testing results, although using the same strategies, I will need to fine tune to cater for different personality factor of different pairs.
You can say that I am a bit of curve fitting but even without changing anything, the EA is still profitable. I just want to maximise it.
Also, i'm using a fix TP and SL for every single strategie so this is at least something which I need to optimise.
Currently GBPUSD is fully done for me. EURUSD still need a bit of work, probably by next week.
I will move on to more pairs so that it will trigger more trades and also if by any chance my EA sucks (which I doubt so), it will fail fast.

I have joined this forum since 2010 and did not post much as I was learning. Why should I scam now?
Please hold your judgement and follow me for a year. Time will tell.
There is no hurry really as I am certain that I already have the holy grail.

I have checked your profile and find that you are a very helpful trader to others which is why I am willing to share more.

I did a lot of mistakes initially when writing this EA as I was using the same TP and SL.
I have forgotten that the price of the pair changes by a lot over the years.
Therefore if you are using a fixed TP and SL or any one of them, please use a ratio to auto adjust.

Example of my SL code
Bid+StopLossA/1.2*Bid*MyPoint

1.2 is just a number for EURUSD price so if it moves down to say 1.00000 in future, my program will continue to work.
I'm not a good coder so my code is actually quite simple.
