I am running this EA on 3 MT4 platforms. There were good questions this morning from traders who may expect a similar result from a program. The truth is it may or may not happen.
Same trade from 3 different MT4 platforms running at the SAME TIME June 12 for the CPI news in the US. The EA picked USD/CAD as the currency to use for this news event. The time at which the trades are shown in these attachments is that of each broker but it was the same trade happening at the same time:
1 - The trade by the EA by the first MT4 platform did not trigger because after 2 minutes, the buy or sell order is cancelled by the EA. aDuring these 2 minutes, it failed to reach the sell stop order.
2 - the trade by the second MT4 session stopped out after being triggered
3 - the trade by the third MT4 platform closed with a profit. The trade did not close like #2 because the spread was different and the stop loss not hit.
Again this is the same trade by 3 MT4 sessions running at the same time using the same EA. It does not mean that this happens for all trades. But traders should be aware that the trading results using a single program may be close, not identical to the same EA running with a different broker.
The large majority of the trades I run with this EA are consistent with the myfxbook, not identical.
Hope that helps.
