My view is we go a little higher in the NDX drop for a week or maybe two at most 70 to 6850 NDX then time to pile on the calls. Your put play is about right in time and strike just dont stay there long.

I did stacked spreads today on the GBP/JPY pair. I'm not sure what the real name is for doing vertical spreads like that is.

Premium was pretty good, so I bought 4 contracts ITM to capture it. Then did a higher spread to capture movement. I had to absorb a little heat on that most of the morning until som Brit news came and cashed me out. I cashed the premium early and left $25 on the table. Grabbed almost 60 pips on the upper spread.

Screenie shows that graph. I highlighted the spreads below.

boring af S&P since begin May, nice to get a dip but don't expect much if any, we could grind up 60-120 pts per month right into next earnings, then see some bigger pops, maybe see vol around the midterms, but I look for a 3,100 high for the year....

A steady low vol upgrind is easy to trade. Keep it simple, risk a little to make a lot

you'd think with rates rising the bank stocks would be also, but XLF been dead money since the March FOMC. Maybe that will turn today? I am trying to fill a Jul20/27 XLF $29 call calendar for 3c

all for naught. never got filled. the robinhood app is useless for seeing open interest. zero volume. my nadex eur/usd vert call spread paid me off well as did my g/u, and g/j spreads and binaries. Might straddle fomc for beer money.
