Would someone please help me make one adjustment to this Account Equity Analyser indicator. The key feature I want to use is the max floating drawdown number at the top right corner of the chart (as displayed in attached chart).

It is meant to show all-time max drawdown on the account equity. What I would like to do is to be able to reset it before I start trading everyday. I trade mainly intraday so I'm only interested in the max floating drawdown on all positions I have opened during the day. For example, I want to know what's the largest drawdown in % of total balance I have incurred today, maybe while I was away from the screen.

Thank you very much in advance for any help.

I'm wondering if deleting history in the platform at beginning of each day will help the indicator to "reset" the drawdown number back to begin at zero.

Would someone please tell me which history I need to delete for this to work?

Thank you so much!

I don't know if this indicator is useful to you or not. It will show max and min profit/loss for the day as well as current. It is not % but profit in your account currency. Note that max and min will reset if you change timeframes.
If it is not useful to you, then never mind, please do not ask me to make changes. If you want changes, then maybe somebody else will be able to help you.
I coded this indicator a while back , so it may not be perfect.

Oh man, how did this happen? I posted a reply to your last post on the same day, and have been waiting for a response all this time. Today decided to check back in this thread and ta da... my last post is not here!

Ok, let's try again. Thank you Gumrai for sharing the indicator. Much appreciated. But for some reason, when I use it, the displayed max P/L don't seem to reflect the true numbers. For example I get maximum loss that's less than the current price drawdown displayed in the actual orders terminal. Am I doing something wrong? I just attach the indicator to a clean chart of the currency pair I'm trading. And I only trade one pair at a time.

Thank you, if you have time to answer.

That will happen if you have already closed some profitable trades.

Also the indi doesn't reset the highest and lowest profit totals when a new day starts.
This one does.

Thank you Gumrai. You're always very helpful to me. If you're still in Thailand, I hope you're doing ok with all the political unrest that's going on in the country. Hoping for a positive outcome soon. Best wishes to you.

Dear Gumrai,

Is it possible for this Indicator also displaying today's highest loss? (for analyzing highest drawdown of the day per pair)

Thanks in advanced

Mvn

I'm looking for the same indicator too..for backtest .

For real chart you can use trading information indicator which is available and downloadable from MQL5 marketplace..but it doesn't works in strategy tester
