is the rule on number 6 meaning :

example : a new H1 higher open is made, then 10 minute later there is a new open price on 5M chart and it's in high and higher open area
so i enter a sell.
then the next 50 minute i should have close the trade, despite it's a win or a loss?

No.

It means you don't take more than one trade at a time on any given bar.

Thanks to all contributors and TooSlow for thread.
Been reading for a while (only half way through thread).
First trade today on EURUSD. Moved to +5 before returning to adjusted tp of +1 pip.
I believe a followed all rules and criteria. Please feel free to advise if otherwise.

Pardon my English as it is not my native language.

i must give credit to you all, thank a lot for the simplicity of HOLO and 123. They take me 2 year trading on mobile to fully utilise them on my trading journey. Yup...on mobile. I dont have the luxury to trade with indicators. I use Fibs but it is tailored and suited for my purpose. Dont get me wrong tough, FIB is just a ruler for me.HOLO and 123 as my trigger.

I do share HOLO and 123 with my friends. Surely they were sceptical at first. It was too simple to begin with. I remember we got disputes on the daily open. Which is the best open to use? Finally for the sake of simplicity we just use the " period separator " to mark our daily open.

I understand the urge to trigger the trade as soon as possible. That time we were dare devils. As we grow from trading experience, finally we could wait for the HOLO and 123 trade to fully develop. Patience and perseverance were keys to our success with HOLO and 123.

One will question, how HOLO and 123 benefiting from trends? Our take were simply, buy every daily LO and 123, hold and stacks them for long enough until our SL are hit @ we are on doubt that trend has change. True to sell every HO and 123, hold and stacks. Again patience and perseverance bought us trough. Breakouts? We dont deal with them. HOLO 123 already taken care of breakouts since they are plenty carry forward trades previously.

Do HOLO 123 for long enough to built confidence, develop Risk and Reward skills, our trading become light and easy. No more remourse for revenge trading.No more remourse for sharp entry. No more headaches on a myrad of conflicting indi. All indis surely are lagging. HOLO and 123 were there too solve them all along. We were blinded with complexity.

TooSlow , PipEasy, CrucialPoint sincerely I thank you for the knowledge and wisdom. I wish your all the best of luck in your trading carrier. I sincerely thank you again and again. We still do 0.01 challenge on our second acc up till today. Surely the second acc look more lively and lovely compared to the main acc. Only both my acc are running both HOLO and 123. Compared to my friends, they still choose to run amok with indi for their main acc.

Well you are your own master. So let them be. I hope they reliase the simplicity soon and HOLO 123 would be a game changer for them.

So nice to hear from you and congratulations. I hope that your story and journey will be an inspiration for others new to the HOLO and 1-2-3 methods. Surely a perfect example of hard work and perseverance!

You also show that by taking a method and once you have learned the basics, tweaking it and making it your own, to suit your own trading personality and style, you can form a winning strategy.

Good luck going forward and perhaps you could drop in once in a while and update us on your progress.

That is not a pair strength indicator. That is a change pair/chart period button indicator from ADVANCED ALIEN TECHNOLOGY YouTube is your friend.

Hi MichaelG, thank you for your excelent explications.
I was wondering, when you put your Stop Loss, you also take in mind the Ask and Bid price, and move your Stop Loss a bit further away at the same distance what would be the difference between ask and sell price? When I don t do that I get stopped out at a too early price level.

During the challenge, you are only to trade the same pair.

Beginners do not get to trade multiple pairs until they have mastered trading one single pair.

Hi All:

Do any of the indicators you are using work in the Strategy Tester? I tried to use them to practice using historical data but they don't redraw in the ST on my installations. Anyone have something that works in ST?

The best strategy testing is the 10 TRADE CHALLENGE. Don't you have $10 to spare? Trade $.10 a pip. Stop loss set at $1.00. It would be tough to lose 10 in a row if you follow the rules.
