I see this strategy looks like it is a kind of martingale strategy or when trade goes negative trader adds more trades... Not very healthy but so far so good..

The strategy is briefly described in #Post 1.

Any trade management technique can either work or not, depending on who's pulling the trigger. There are hundreds, if not thousands, traders here on FF, who'd cringe at the very thought of using progressive lot sizing, just because they tried and failed, or worse still, have not tried at all, only read somewhere on the forum and are repeating mindlessly after some other dimwit...
Not knowing or understanding what one is doing can indeed be deadly for the account.

There is a lot of discretion involved in how I trade, and I believe the stats speak for themselves.

"The odds of a Bank of Canada rate hike in July jumped to 79.5% from about 50% on the heels of the BOC statement. The big development was the removal of the word 'cautious,' which is a dead giveaway that the BOC plans to hike at the next meeting on July 11.
What's likely to have a more long-lasting effect on the currency is a line saying the BOC will take a "gradual approach" on rates in a shift from the previous language saying "higher interest rates will be warranted over time."
It can't be a coincidence that the BOC is using the same language as the Fed, which has used 'gradual' to indicate hikes at every second meeting. That would put a BOC hike on the table in October. The odds for that meeting have risen to about 60% and then you have to keep going down the line and pushing up the rate hike path.
That's what is underway at the moment and it will be a tailwind for the Canadian dollar for at least a few more days."

To cut a long story short, CAD got wings despite no hike this time; USDCAD short closed.

End of May; main account balance and equity overview. Closing the month at a new HWM.

USDJPY closed; first profit for June in the bag, and the weekly target of 2.5% comfortably exceeded.
