If trader is from one of the banned countries, it should not be allowed to open an account in the first place. Sign is not good for Darwinex.
maybe darwinex is a too responsible broker to do things beyond regulator's expectancy.

hey,ease man, i feel a little regret to start this post, bring too much quarrels and unhappy. I should blame myself for too causious, many people can wait broker process their withdraw two months without a single word complain, but i only one weeks start to worry.

If brokers are so bad why the F*** are you all still trading??

There are good broker and bad brokers and there are terrible traders who blame everyone but themselves.

It's really boring and actual very toxic and misleading to new members when they have to read total lies about how brokers supposedly treat people. Most of you do not have a clue how a broker operates nor how much legal, technical and regulations they have to follow to provide you with you sh***y demo accounts that you use for 3 years

Notice how it's the traders that lose money that are always moaning about brokers.

No you should use this forum to ask for advice about a broker, but accusing them of being a dodgy broker or however you described them is misleading. Maybe you should have done a little research, maybe you should have chased Darwinex harder or asked them for a better explanation.

At least you got it sorted in the end

Dear Op, I'm glad you got it worked out. I was curious about this thread as my acquaintance, a Swedish retired bank FX executor, recommended Darwinex. I'm assuming they are being overly cautious with their affairs, but I could be wrong.

When I began reading your post, it was vaguely reminiscent of a US Internal Revenue (IRS) Audit type ordeal which can be harrowing on all parties involved. The IRS can, at any time, immediately and randomly request an audit in such fashion. Without limitations on overreach, I'm imagining the Chinese government might have caused some such trouble.

this is all kyc/aml jargon. income proofs/bank accounts/electric bill etc are all used to verify identity of person. which any decent broker should have requested on opening of new accounts. not sure if darwinex did that, if not. perhaps they are rectifying their fault.

What happen to the money if Darwinex doesnt allow the withdraw? FCA did not asked for this 'audit'. Darwinex just hold on to the money?
I worked for a financial institution , with millions being received/sent daily worlwide. Since 9/111, the main issue is non sending a customer money (withdrawal) but receiving the money ie source of funds. If the source is dubious, the money is sent back to where it came from. But once money has been accepted then there is no question about where the customer wants to send the funds.

A broker rules is to send funds only to trader acct/card etc. Hence need to verify destination acct. Like I mentioned before, if broker dont send the money what do you do with it? It is not a kyc issue since acct already opened and op has withdrawn before. Even if you do kyc check now and op is from Iran instead of from china, what do you do with the money?

For a financial institution, the acct wilth be closed and money sent to where op wishes.

Any withdrawal issue by a broker should ring alarm bells.

If china is concern about op money, wont it be better thar the money is back is china? Assuming that is the destination. Even if they have concern unless it is in the millions , they wont bother, too many millionaires and billionairs for them to chase after

Yes, agreed, in fact I don't want bring any more negative review to darwinex, after all ,still many traders use them and trust them. I dont want affect the traders with them. as for China government, imho,because China has not yet permit any fx broker do bussiness inside China, they should have no rights to request any broker provide any data to them.

Yes,I have provide them all the document when open account, I wish all this trouble was only my overreaction.

As long as you're just describing accurately what really happened, I don't see any problem. In the end, you may be helping traders who are trusting them when maybe they should be wary. It's more by not saying anything that others may be negatively affected. Now, we all have to keep in mind that it's only what one person has said on the internet, and we don't have Darwinex version on the other side (not saying that you're lying or anything, but still, we have to be cautious about that too). After that, it's up to everybody to do its own research and make its own decisions.

In fact, my withdraw way is wire to bank in HK my personal account, not big money,just around 10k usd,i'm not a millionaire, ,just an ordinary which dream to become rich by trade. I'm still eager to see my money reach my account after darwinex send it out this Monday, usually this will take several days.
