{quote} Hi mate: I'm looking for pairs with a low spread, aroun two or less pips. I currently trade seven pairs and that's enough for me. The moving averages are a reference and I am using 40 EMA and 10 Ema. If price is above both and daily opening price, I only look at buy trades and viceversa. Today´s examples charts. At the first chart i don’t see any trade oportunity. Price is between the Mas and there is no clear trend. May be tomorrow. At the second and third charts there is a trade oportunity i can see. The target is enought for put an intraday...

Hi Jaquemate! Im just wondering, have you stoped using hekinashi on your real time daily charts? If yes, then could you please tell us why? If not, then what do you do when price comes trending down to a support and daily hekinashi is red but houly hekinashi is green? Do you buy in this situation against the main trend? Or do you keep selling agree with the main trend? Or do you wait untill the daily turns into green hekinashi and then buy?
Thank you from Uzbekistan

Hello everyone and apologies for my bad English.

dee50 and Matomi I find it fascinating how you do so many positive operations in a row and how you have the speed of closing with +1 pip in seconds ...

How much distance do you put the stop loss? Is it a fixed distance or does it depend on expensive operation?

Do you use trailing stop? How many points?

Thank you very much!

They don't post their losses. Perhaps they're ashamed? I don't know. Ego I guess. People will share what they want to share.

Hi all. I have some time off, so I decided to do some trading today. Ger30 +40 +8 +3 +18. Doing a lot of experimenting with settings for the oscillators that suit me best. As I said, 10 7 5 throws me off sometimes, but ultimately it is a give and take game. Best, Josh {image}

Hello Joshua,
I see you have a BE script in place. Is it possible for you to share or direct to the library to download?

Hello Everyone. I am with Pepperstone and I just got a nice notice that leverage will dropped to rather ridiculous levels. I think its crap, as effectively all EU residents are now being given training wheels, just like US traders have been up to this point. Why Pepperstone had to open its UK office is a mistery, as UK is leaving the EU.
Bottom line, any suggestions for a good legit broker with solid spreads and decent leverage that wont impose these rules to EU traders.? Thanks. Josh

Hi Jaquemate,

I am trying to put the indicator (Renkolivechart_v3.4) that you put at the beginning of the thread but it is impossible for me.

Can you (or someone) tell me how can I put it please?

Thank you in advance.

Josh, Pepperstone will keep your trading conditions if you request them to qualify you as Professional Trader. I just did it few seconds ago (got the same mail), it took me like 2 minutes. They're becoming too much regulations-scared broker, I don't see the other brokers with same or better reputation giving a damn about this sh.t. As far as I can keep my leverage 1:200 on DAX, with no comissions, spread under 1 pip, I am happy, otherwise I am leaving probably back to my old broker XTB, which meanwhile set comissions, spread, leverage and margin level quite indetically.

BTW - nevertheless if you want to change broker, look at ADS Securities or ADS Prime (UK).

I´m using Activtrades (UK based) and used FXCM AU. Can´t say about regulations for EU residents.

By the way, you and people here can comment on how are you dealing with DAX at this moment? So small range, tends to be boring.

Would be great to see yours, matomi, matmomo, dee, jacquemate, and other star contributors charts again. I´m so frustrated I blew another account yesterday.

Best regards

Use some common sense!! The thread started 4 years ago, virtually none of the indicators from then work. Look in the /attachments at the top of the page for a more recent EA/Indicators.

With the changes to leverage that are being implemented for EU traders I was curious about the effect on the small retail trader. I have never traded a small account before, when I started 12 years ago I started with a €25k account. I opened a €100 account at 1:10 leverage to replicate the changes that are coming. I have traded that for the last 14 trading days, it has been an interesting experience. Some pages of trades are not included as there is a limit on number of attachments but these pages give you a clear picture. With this market it was not easy to trade patterns so I traded mainly Breakouts, most of the time I used a move to BE @5 occasionally I tried a move to BE @10 with a partial take off. All losers were as a result of not using a BE strategy. So, a BE strategy can be extremely frustrating and you do miss out on a run, but in this environment the only other safe method is to stand aside.

Hi Matomi, I looked into the option to qualify as a pro trader, but in reality there is no way for a smaller trader to qualify. If you pulled it off, my hat of to you.
You have to meet 2 of these requirements, and provide paperwork to support it>
Significantly Sized Trades Per Quarter in the last four quarters
Proof of at least 10 significant sized trades on average with a notional value of Usd10,000 for equities and Usd50,000 for forex, indices and commodities or equivalent in local currency.

Portfolio Size
Proof of the size of your financial instrument portfolio, defined as cash and financial instruments but not including property, non-tradeable assets, cars, or jewellery exceeding EUR 500,000 (or equivalent in local currency).

Financial Sector Experience
Proof of at least one year’s experience as a professional within the financial sector, such as a payslip, company pension statement or employment contract.

Best, Josh

Hi Dee50. I'm new to this thread and haven't yet committed to reading all 495 pages to bring myself up to speed but how did you pull off that kind of win rate? You mentioned using a breakouts. This might sound like a stupid question but did you accomplish that using the method described in this thread? Thanks in advance.

No tricks or treats. I literally just traded breakouts in the direction of the trend. But I employed Paranoid Mode, move to BE+ as quickly as possible the consequence of that is a high win low profitability rate.Trend

EDIT. Here is an example +22. Trend +Breakout+ Sensible TP. Did get lucky, price kissed the BE but did not like the Garlic from last nite.
