Hi Math Trader,

Appreciate if you could help me on the EA. I can run the EA on my MT4 but seemed like it do nothing after I run it. No orders made. Btw, I've tried untick the offline chart but still nothing change.

Hey everyone! A basic Renko question here....why is it that, sometimes I see a few bricks on my chart as the price is moving...beyond the predetermined number of pips, and NOT painting a brick? I watched it today and 5 BRICKS painted all at the same time. I am on a 15 minute chart with a 2 pip brick setting. I thought that the new brick was supposed to print as soon as the next 2 pips was hit. Anyway, any help here would be awesome. Thank you!

change yr timeframe, from 15 to 1 minute

Hello @mathtrader7 i have good idea that i believe it will work i hope that you can automate it.
Buy and sell on 3 renko tf/brick size
Frist brick size 20
Second brick size 40
Third brick size 80
Rules are simple 2 bricks in same side
if 2 bulls close sell if (exist) and buy
if 2 bears close buy if (exist) and sell
I did manually test and it look promising

Tried Renko for a while, was good while it lasted; but then you have to decide what brick size to use on a daily basis and each pair is different, wasnt worth it.

hi mathtrader huge fan here, I was just wondering if you could look to make an EA out of these 2 indicators. I just also want to thank Skyler for the PBF fast 3MA. This strategy is based on renko charts also. the channel indicator does repaint but that's fien.

Buy entry rules would be as followed: when the renko bar crosses above the MA and we have a buy signal on the signal channel we will enter a trade.
same applies to the sell entry

Hello anyone
i would like to apply renko chart ea on daily time frame as feed not the m1 - but what ever time frame i change the output chart that the renko ea generates looks the same as if coming from m1 data (not daily or any other higher time frame)

i have my own reasons to benefit from having a renko chart created out of say a higher time frame !

can some one point me as how to achieve this ?

Hi Math,
When I apply the Renko ADX EA on a non-gap renko chart, there appears a caution as to apply on a non-gap renko chart, and the EA disappears. Your Renko EA does not give such a caution and operates OK.
How could this happen?

Hi,
The Renko ADX EA has been written to work only on non-gap renko charts.

Yes, I understand that. So is your RenkoEA.
My question is, how come the caution to use non-gap renko comes out ONLY when RenkoADXEA is applied.
I always use non-gap charts created by your EA.

There is no such restriction written in the code of RenkoEA. I wanted RenkoEA to work on normal Renko charts, too.

Limiting to the ADX EA, the caution appears on non-gap chart. Why?

This is strange! I will take a look at the code. There might be a bug or so.

Im using the Engulfing renko NO GAP with ICHIMOKU, its a nice Trading system.

can we turn it into a EA ?. What do you think ? The Engulfing need to be Above/Bellow all the Ichimoku lines and Tenkan > Kijun, I dont use the Chikou line.

SL/TP : On opposite renko bar. I use a Engulfing indicator to help.
