So the last few weeks I've been testing the strategy using pivots as S&R on the EAX dash, and its been doing well.

Last week the SDTR EA did not make a good profit, but on the EAX dash it made over 150+ pips.

I've set a 50 pip 1:1 for TP and SL, while testing it, and so far initial results shows the pivots S&R working well.

Yes it is and if I was good at coding I would have implemented some ideas.

The first things that I was waiting for ebeckers to take a look at the panel refresh bug, and the S&R filter differences.

I then spoke to him about perhaps having an ADR based TP and SL. I know that setting the same fixed TP for every pair is not exactly correct as each pair is different and using their ADR as a TP could maybe work better. I'm aware that quite a few traders use ADR successfully.

I also spoke to him about using fibo pivots as S&R, which I've already talked about previously.

Is the EA perfect? no its not, its still in development, but it does work pretty well so far, and still has a lot of potential to be even better with a few tweaks and mods.

It will take some time to recover, and it will, I must say we had a great run when I started the TE, and the market was in our favor for the strategy. It will return and we will get back to the top.

Everything (HiddenSL & trailing params) are in % ADR.

Current ADR settings are the past 7 days (excluding sunday).
It does not consider the current day movement from open (yet).
TP will also go to % adr.

- To use Strength and if your symbols have a prefix or suffix you have to set them.
You also have to run the ForceLoadHistoricalData script.

- Minutes between trades on the same pair now only stops trades in the same direction as the previous one.
Before it also stopped opposite trades for x minutes.

- ZigZagOnlyExit will exit a trade if an opposite ZZ arrow appears. It does not wait on a full opposite signal.

- StrengthReverseExit will exit a trade if both the base and the quote currency strength direction changes.

- StrengthLossExit exits a trade when one of the currencies changes direction (or goes flat).

- TrendStrengthLossExit needs the strength and the strength signal to disappear.

Can you explain more about the ADR %? I can see we can set the period, but what percentage is used for TP? 50%, 25%?

Are the TS triggers now used as the % for ADR?

Yes, they are % of ADR.

You can set TP by setting a Trigger and at lock at the same %.

Example OrderHiddenSL @ 30% ADR and set OrderTS1 and OrderTS1Trigger both @ 50% ADR.
