I have previously used an ea that adds to losing trades that didnt end well. Some draw down. lets see

Without knowing how your so called break works how can some one guess what lot size to use based on their risk appetite

Also I see that the ea doubles up on lot sizes when in draw down so now i am starting to understand with regard to position sizing.

Dear Steve

We know you are demo trading ,sir but we did say to you that you are running the EA with big lot sizes.MODEST EA does only take trades when all signals are in line.There is nothing we can say at this stage just continue observing the trades.If you feel uncomfortable how our EA trades than maybe our EA is not for you ,sir.

I do not understand. I am also experiencing a DD with the default settings, only on NZDUSD PAIR. And EA keeps on opening new positions on this pair?

Recent trades from today, the EA is capitalising on the pullbacks, in most cases the trend seems to continue but the micro trends seem enough to be in and out, hope this helps, D

I see but my problem seems to lie with the NzdUSD pair. DD for over 2 hours and keeps on opening new positions on same pair. If I am doing something wrong maybe. Dont know, default settings.... maybe drop NZDUSD pair... But this might happen again on o,ther pairs

We are sorry to say but you keep saying our EA keeps opening new positions.We have the same positions are open here and EA is not opening any positions back to back ,could you please send on this forum your positions opening as well as your journal tab screen shots,please.

Thanx MP, Do bear in mind I am a newbie. If you say I should not panick over $7 DD I ACCEPT THAT. Still feeling positive. I only wondered why this happened on only one specific pair where in DD IT KEPT ON OPENING NEW POSITIONS.

I expect the recommended pairs have been optimised and tested to DD levels hence the need for minimal balance, I stayed away from the rules (broke them) and traded the Dow, the result was £85+ drawdown, you will see from my posts however, the Dow did come back around but because I topped my account up it was recognised by the EA as collective profit and closed my trades, that aside you need to have confidence in the EA, if your trading live, be prepared for an outcome that may not suite you or make you uncomfortable, if a demo, you have nothing to lose and lessons to learn, I sure hope it turns good though, I have't got that pair on my radar so cannot share your feelings right now, but sure hope you have good news to post, D
