Could you explain why ?

Dear Geges

MODEST EA, in some occasions also this depends on the market volatility and strength of the signal EA can open 1 ,2 or sometimes 3 orders .Also because we are running for the same pair 1 minute chart and 5 minute chart EA,so anytime 1 minute chart kicks in at the same time 5 minute chart might kick in as well but this does not happen very often unless again depends on the signal ,volatility etc.

Dear Modest team i have been testing the ea today starting with your advised lot size increase (which on a demo (9.5k account size seems very cautious to me and perhaps very wise) and then increasing lot size to what I believe many traders would use on an account of that size. What i like is fast in fast out and thats what it does. Is it possible to advise what the settings within the ea do please.

Just looking for information with regard to all the settings. What worries me is running with no stop loss although you have stated the ea has a break when installing on a real account more info would be helpful

We do apologise but couldn't understand but what we see straight away is ,you have put 0.8 lot size,that is huge for that account size, eventhough it is low risk ea,the other settings are ok ,based on 9.5K account size,please get in touch with us by writing to our email [email protected]

Instead of visual stoploss EA has equity target and target for symbol.Our EA needs good money management and patience.Our EA is not a get rich quick EA.As Modest ea team we always encourage our clients to use good money management,at the end of a day our priority is our clients money first.Please take your time trying our EA ,demo it as long as you can.We are here to help.

That is why I wanted to know more about stop loss as I am testing the ea on demo I have increased the lot size to try and see if the ea will return the kind of returns I would like to see. If this was a real account I would monitor the trades all day and stop it at the end of the uk session or us session then start at beginning of euro session.

If you are expecting high returns with our EA increasing the lot size, we do apologise but we do not want any of our clients to do that kind of huge lot size increases.We have said on this forum so many times, if you want to understand how this EA works please use the lot sizes we have given or increase them by multiplying with 2 or 3(depending on your demo account size) that way you can see the actual draw down which is the most crucial and important thing on any EA as well as profit factor etc.
We hope this makes sense.

Hello all, EA just opened AUD/USD trade, all looking good again today, I would say that anyone testing on a demo account to use realistic amounts, money you would expect to trade live with, you get a better understanding and comfort from how the EA behaves, with that said, thumbs up from me, D

Do I have to add Modest_indi.ex4 to each of the charts?
Anything above the line is an uptrend, below the line is a downtrend.

As far as I'm aware it just has to be part of the indicators library that the EA draws its functions from, no need to have it on the chart, the team should confirm, D

HI,

I find this thread and EA very interesting, but I read that the trial period ends on the 19th....and would like to know if I am too late to start testing it...as 4.5 days doesn't seem enough.

Does this mean that the 19th the EA will stop working and we can't use it anymore?

Please download the current EA which are attached on this forum.We will replace the live and demo trade version of this EA on the 20th with only demo trading version with an expiry of about 30 days,sir.
