Experienced trader like you will recognize the market trend and do their analysis based on their ability to combine several tools like trend line, head and shoulder, double top bottom, fibo etc. Please continue to upload your chart bro.

No no no, I don't give any importance to double tops bottoms, H&S and the like, I just signal them for information !

The only important thing for me is what the current price is doing relative to its recent past in a given time frame, my preferred being the 1h.

So, if price is making a new high, it's becoming stronger and we should buy and if it makes a new low it's becoming weaker and we should sell and this is quite the contrary to what a lot of people do when trying pick a bottom or top or looking at some indicator that says oversold or overbought which are things that are somehow artificial and anyway derived calculations from the price itself.

Do you see the break to the upside of that recent high ? That's a clear sign of strength. If I were short, That's were I would have closed my shorts and opened new longs. That was what I was talking about.

I would have preferred to be wrong and the break to be a false one but it seems that it was not the case this time as GU is at 1.3600 at the time of writing
