Disliked{quote} You don't HAVE to do anything: check out the way Yomi trades these moves. I'm still in the EUR/USD version of this move, which isn't dissimilar to cable. I'll put my chart up when done.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I didn't take it long, or the short from the pissy little shooting start. Wasn't at the computer to take the 4Hr signal either! Still there's always another trade. EDIT: to clarify, that "shooting star" doesn't really qualify in my mind. Too small and doesn't really stand out.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Strat. I hope you're well. I guess you're asking to test if I understand what a cross-pair is? Ok, I'll play along. In this particular example, EUR-JPY is a "cross" (ie a derivative) of EUR-USD and USD-JPY. Looking back, at 15:30 MT4 server time (14:30 my time), slightly negative USD news came out. EUR-USD whipsawed and the related cross-pair EUR-JPY did the same at the exact same time. This is why I stay out of all pairs on USD red news day. Cheers. DislikedEUR AUD WORKER Good morning (through the eyes of the Europeans ), would like to share my analysis of the worker for EUR AUD. My view for the BB and B hasn’t changed as mentioned in my post 3860. I was bearish since 12.4. as we had the BEEB (see first arrow) but wanted to wait for the close of the following day. Didn‘t take a position as we saw the hammer (or doji) one day as later. Price was supported and rejected by the bottom of the Strat shadow, which was also the swing low. As price was rejected again on the higher levels (25.4.) we are...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I closed my short of last week on BUEB, opened a long trade that I closed on rejection and did not take the short again. Around 200 pips from both trades combined. But I'm still not pleased with myself and my trading, I would like to see a good opportunity to jump into a longer term trade where I could ride for much longer than 2-3 days. Most of the pairs I'm monitoring don't show the beautiful saw tooth structure that we all look for. Maybe it's just not the right time yet. {image}Ignored
DislikedGPB/USD M5 {image} I took the trade on the BUEB above the resistance, but I have the tendency its stopped in Ganges and I went out as soon as I could with 3 pips of profits, just above the break even. This is not the first Friday of the month, but maybe trader on a Friday is not the idealIgnored

DislikedHere's mine as promised EUR/USD Birthday pips!!! I traded the pullback to the strat shadow (the previous price action had the feel of big boys looking for cheaper longs?), then I added at the breakout kinda like Yomi. I took the second one off when price hit first consolidation at M15 resistance. This seemed to keep my little people happy and allowed me to ride the pullback to first S/R then ride the trade up until some pretty turbulent pullbacks (long wicks) at previous H1 boss congestion. Ended up exiting at break of swing low for a pretty solid...Ignored

DislikedGBPUSD M5 PASR Trend Trading {quote} Yet another that doesn't read and UNDERSTAND my M5 PASR Trend Trading strategy. Either that or you are LIVING to TRADE! There is NO TREND established when you entered your trade. There is NO PULLBACK to the TREND when you entered your trade. Both myself and Yomi (fxrabbi) have posted over and over that we TRADE THE M5 TREND - NO TREND - NO TRADE! but maybe trader on a Friday is not the ideal Nothing to do with Friday - it is YOU the trader who is not ideal {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} First of all, I want to say that I know I am not an ideal trader and I will never be I am trying to be profitable and I am still learning, I devote all my free time to understanding forex. So I will try to compare my trade and a trade of Yomi, I'm just trying to understand, do not be so hard please. So here's my trade and here's a trade that took Yomi. {image} {image} Now when we compare when I took my trade and when he took it, and well the graphics are similar, the price went through the Strat shadow, there was a return. {image} {image}...Ignored
DislikedGBPUSD M5 PASR Trend Trading {quote} do not be so hard please. Poor baby! Trading is HARD. Trading is a zero sum activity. Trading is a DOG EAT DOG world. Only the toughest survive. My teaching style over these last 8+ years is very successful having produced many consistently profitable traders. It separates the weak from the strong; the boys from the men. If you are upset by me being HARD on you then you will have a HUGE shock when you put your hard earned money on the line and you get spit out in little pieces for breakfast. Your fellow countryman...Ignored
