MP, no doubt you have read my recent post, to be fair, the trades on the Dow did come around but, while my trades were showing a loss, I made a deposit and the EA recognised the deposit as a profit target and closed my trades, something to take note of while trades are open, hope this helps, D

Dear detector

We should have mentioned that because EA has equity target so you are 100 % right when you credit your account during any open position EA recognises that as profit.Thanks for your comment and noted , hopefully will be fixed.My question is because of Dow you had a big drawdown and could you tell us how much minus your account went into.

About £85 at this point I deposited and whoosh all closed, however, manually, I did recoup my losses and made a profit too boot, considering the DD it was nothing short of the profit I had made from the system, I will now be sticking to EU,AU,UJ, the rules!!.
I think the results of late are true to your prediction of £50-£90 pw, I live in hope it continues beyond the trial period, lol, D

Just for the record,I'm of the opinion that a good EA can have very little start up capitol, when I trial an EA it has to meet that criteria, it has to appeal to the "little guy" if it does I suspect it could go far, understanding how everything works and collective profit, would you say using one pair, the user could start from £100 ?.
I started the "Modest LR on £112 and 3 pairs and the DOW, pre disaster, the account made over 70% in 4 days, not something you would advise but achieved, I set the account up, as I always do to test, this is a live account BTW, if you discount the £100 deposit to cover trades, discount trading the Dow, and it did contribute to profits made, (breaking the rules as I always do) , it done very well in delivering your estimate, I can see success written all over, enjoy, D

And I do have one more concern, I see the EA trying to hedge the trades with bigger lot size! Would like to know whether if it isn't risky!

Dear aking194

MODEST EA doesn't use hedging,it has an intelligent grid system but that comes into play when EA sees it's necessary to use.
During the high impact news we DON'T turn it off our EA but unless a rate rise or cut is predicted than we do turn it off.These important warnings will be made when you become our monthly subscriber.

Turn it off manually you mean? And yea, if I get a clear understanding of how the EA works, I'm down to subscribe for you guys!
