looking at 4 hour USDCAD may head down ... there was heavy supply on up bars yesterday , evident on both 4 hour and 60 min

Thanks for the replies, hope we get too see a bit more from you.

I was just coming back to explain why I did what I did.

CAD has been going sideways for the past 2 weeks. Basically just fibbed the highest volume on the 1 hour chart on the top and bottom of this consolidation area we are in, which gives us the edges to play.

I do think USDCAD will drop as well, but I'm just waiting for price to drop below the lower zone and then come back and retest. There is a perfect example of this from the accumulation area from earlier in April. Take the highest zone from that area wait for price to push out and come back and retest.

Calling it a day, if it hits it will be a 4.7:1 RR.

Just saying, I really hate the trading adage "You can't go broke by taking profit". Taking profit too soon will reduce your RR and if your win rate can't support your RR, you will go broke.

Trading futures mainly instead of Forex now unless I want a position in an exotic, having said that, I trade with the jigsaw platform and you can see iceberg orders stacking at the trigger lines you draw. Algos will stack orders "iceberg" protecting price, If the level holds price will continue much like you commented on previous sharp shooter posts. Now that there is no spoofing in the market allowed, its the best way to protect a position level.
Its awesome to see vsa work on a level 2.

I brought up my stop yesterday because I knew today was NFP and I wouldn't have checked the market until late in the session. Looks like it would have paid better to keep the stop in place, which I normally do.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining and if I had to do it all over again I would still have moved up my stop with NFP around the corner.

Hi Fred,

Yes I still use SmartVSA.
I will gladly take a screenshot the next time I see the market reacting the way mentioned/Iceberg orders although a screen shot does not do it justice since this type of order happens in real time with continual bids/offers added to the tape.
Here is a shot video explaining what I am talking about.

what I have noticed in the crypto is to take more notice of the ultra low volume bars in the trend than the ultra high volume bars

Took a few losses over the past couple of days, but finally found the winner.

8:1 RR.. after expenses 5:1 RR.

*EDIT* I can't do math apparently.. 11:1RR and 8:1RR after expenses.

I didn't label it, but you can see the 2 bar on the M30 for entry.

Watching EURUSD with interest.

Although we haven't really seen the bulls take control just yet, it seems like there was buying on May 2nd-4th, and yesterday looks like a low volume test. Lets wait and see if the bulls push it up.

Hello all,
I did not take this trade but I thought it was a great example of intraday strength and a vsa setup very similar to what @hiddengap has been showing in his sharpshooter posts.
5 min chart. I look to trade this setup, it is visible on every time frame.
