Hello everyone,

I have been a lurker for quite some time... sooooo here goes for my first post. As I was up for the better part of the night with my 4 month old baby girl, I was able to glance at the screen for a bit. I took a trade on 5 min GBP/NZD. On my chart, there are 2 arrows... my trade is the second one and I got out at 1.9462 because I have to go to work.

I also marked the first black arrow because it look like a trade I would of like to take. I did not take it because of the previous down trend.

Please comment on both arrows

I think I was too optimistic about this and I should have respected the wick on the hourly chart more

Hi Jaizy, great to see lurkers post

Great entry on arrow 2, textbook trend PASR as tought by Strat
Arrow 1 was Basic PASR, equally good, but a much lower probability of success in general in my experience.

And I don't understand your comment on H1 wick, could you clarify?

Strat shadow is great for the switch-over from bear to bull, Visa versa. For extra probability look for some testing Of SShadow.

Hi Bistolis.
The entry on your M5 chart was after an inside bar. I wouldn't look to trade unless I SAW a good price action candle like a BUEB or BUOB at the shadow.
As that entry candle was a BEOB I'd have had an instant alarm bell ring.

What Darko says about the H1 is correct. Forget the H1 chart and what it is doing as it has nothing to do with the M5 PASR strategy.
Just put the support and resistance lines on your M5 chart from H1 and H4 and never look at them again when you are about to trade or are in a trade on M5. Will screw with your little people.
Study enough and it all starts looking like the Matrix...

If any, the candle which you entered on that closed as a BEEB is screaming GET OUT OF THE TRADE. I'd have put my SL around the 1.74880, which is below the support zone. In this case, I'd pass because the R:R is not really worth it.

Did you put a buy stop after that candle, or did you enter on the close?

Agreed with Darko:

Entry 1 looks like a super-advanced Trogger-style trade, and not M5 PASR, but it made you pips so who am i to argue - except to remind that you need to be consistently profitable with anything you are posting.

Entry 2 looks like textbook M5 PASR. Good entry.
