Market become spoke. Today its seems that it is really hard to make profit from this market. I am currently trading on uj(sell) NU(buy) AU(buy). Trapped on NU very badly. Trying to come out from this pair but didn't getting any chance to close.

I suppose usd/jpy sell is right decision now. Although I do not support trade on the extremes, but there is a signal for the bears. perhaps this week will not end productively, but I believe the chart will tend to the level of 108.52 next week. But should be noted it's upward trend on D1

fwiw the market is always correct and it functions the same everyday. Different market conditions is the biggest myth in trading.

I'm starting to believe you can only make money when trading daily/weekly charts. They say 99% of traders failed and that might be the reason, very few focus on daily and above.

This isn't true. It's possible to make money and be profitable on any timeframe. Even with the algos.

The markets are not hard to profit from. Figuring out how to consistently profit from them is the hard part for most.

Maybe if you can share why you took these trades to begin with, targets and stop losses as this can be a starting point. Just from the looks of things you are trading against the US dollar, my question is why? Just review that last few weeks of economic news that is US based and you will see many times it beat expectation and in some cases exceeded the top of the range.

Large drawdown u have, hmmmm? Train yourself to let go of what you fear to lose.

Fear, anger, greed are all around us become one with these, you must. For holding on to these is the path to risker trades, less strategy, less of a plan.

You will know a good trade from a bad trade when you are calm, at peace.


Earn back, you will, what you have lost when at peace.
Learn, a forex trader must, unlearn and relearn he will.

I am looking at the strengthening of the USD. You can see from my trade explorer.. 2 GU shorts with a total of about 800 pips and EU 280 pips

newbie here as well. but see my drawing attached, wherever you enter, you will go up and down, if you are lucky you entered and then have a big rise or fall on price.
Otherwise you will suffer the up-and-down, stop loss? or see your profit shrinking...

There is no doubt on the fact that due to infrastructural nature of forex market, this decentralized market is a risky place where it is now becoming difficult to trade profitability due to the impulsive nature of world economy and international relationships. So, it is no longer an easy task for the traders to continue their trading as easier than before. I personally think that it is becoming extensively risky to trade without using stop loss or trail stop.

Nothing to do with "respect the market".
But more with: Understand the market (how it works, the type of participants ...) it´s the correct answer.

And trend it´s not your friend it can be a *itc* also.

Market will not always remain stable for sure. A foreign currency trader needs to be very careful thereby. Whenever market seems to be very volatile a trader should quick response to the market. I personally think that you should not stick your trading potential among these currencies only. Try to work with diverse pairs that have good chances to provide sufficient money. And I favor major pairs for safe trading as it is easier to predict the currency values and the future behavior of major pairs.
