Understand R....but I have a feeling we may be at odds over what we term discretion.

All ok as the choice of the 3000 Donchian when the 2000 Donchian deteriorates will keep us aligned with the backtest. My main aim is to avoid any form of discretion on our live trading results versus our backtest.

Our entire approach is based on logic as opposed to dictates specified by indicators such as the Donchian. We can use them provided they don't compromise our logic.

PS. I update my backtest from Dukascopy weekly and use the pending lines (as a future entry) and transpose them onto my Pepperstone trades. The aim is to ensure there is no style drift from our backtest results.

I hope this USD rally is fundamentally based and will take a while.

I am in USD SEK, USD CHF which are basically EUR USD but more expensive in spread.
