I would avoid the ITA40 trade mate until the short term SDC had a significantly different momentum signature to the long term. Use the short term momentum as a method to push price significantly in the favour of the long term. The angle differential needs to be greater otherwise you are really trading the long term momentum impulse.

In these situations I push my pendings further away to give a chance for a short term momentum impulse to emerge.

R....in regards to your Thai Bhatt trade....I would probably have kept my pending much higher than yours. Remember the discussion regarding watching out for the deteriorating Donchian. Look for the levels associated with the last significant 2000 bar horizontal line which is associated with a major swing high. When a Donchian deteriorates at the end of it's count and is in the process of determining the next major swing high/low....there is really no meaning to it's positioning in the context of market structure. I hope this helps as the result will significantly reduce the propensity to overtrade. By doing this....we are reinforcing our logic of keeping away from the statistical noise and only acting on momentum surges when price has taken an excursion significantly beyond the historic mean.

The latest Momotrade is giving me grief. I have reverted back to RLF_Momowatch_v10.1 and RLF_MomoTrade_v16.5. Just too many problems. :-)

Concerning NZD we see weakness and I am on it vs CAD and vs USD. EURNZD also breaking out, but 2 pairs are enough.

My pending on USDNOK is setup like this. Many of my trades have quite short...short term SDC's. They tend to operate on shorter timeframe swings than the over-riding longer term swing. Provided it makes sense in terms of market structure and is representative of increasing momentum then I will tend to take it.

Also note how far away my pending is. It was initially set some time ago based on the circumstances surrounding the exit of the prior trade back in Feb 2018.

Well, now short SDC looks short, but it will not if price will arrive at your entry point.

Do you move starting point of the SDC closer to price, so channel will be as narrow as possible but still outside price swings?

Yep mate. If I can get a good distinctive momentum trajectory of a shorter term nature....I will reset the starting point of the short term SDC.

It seems your discretion is operating in Donchian 3000 and not 2000.... in this case of USD SGD you would take entry over this second last significant high? I put Donchian 2000 and 3000 together.
