Hi Cigarguy, and fellow scalpers. Stumbled upon this thread while trying to find volume indicators, something that i use heavily in futures trading, but seems to be disregarded in Forex due to it not being centralized as I understand.
Anyways I had a go at your template and wanted to post my trade here, feedback appreciated .
Short GU 5M +20 pips (2 trades)
Price rejection at half level with high activity...retrace to 'dragon' then broke the half level with high activity. Waited for retrace to dragon then entered on break as soon as bar went red for high activity. FIFO as i feel the move is exhausted for today.
I'm going to ask a few questions here to make sure im understanding right, there is lots of stuff im reading through on the PVSRA thread, and this thread seems more to be examples. Firstly, from what i gather one of the best ways to trade this is to identify a trend during LO/NYO, wait for consolidation at levels/dragon and then entering on a continuation break preferably with volume. The PVA colours don't indicate buy or sell volume, so it's making sure your on the right side when the volume increases. Is this correct?
Thanks for your time and patience, hopefully i don't set anybody off with rookie questions.
Green pips all .
