I'm not exactly sure how you're picking zones. Looking at the D1 level you marked: we have some small sideways action which bulls cleared showing buying here. I can even see to the left of that D1 on chart by the candles that selling was here before but then buying turned up overwhelmingly on large bull candle. Took em a few attempts to clear that zone.

If I look at D1 then of course it may keep going to that D1 swing high - on m15 I would be looking at reaction at around that spike up long to the left of your chart. Whether the swing low buying tail (or candle bodies) may stop it or the little sideways move before the large bull candle in the run up and where it was breached on the right of it with large down move - I don't actually know which you would target.

Sorry badly put. I could see from D1 why long on gbpjpy - I went long eventually as I started later so missed the first run up anyway before London - car issues - but that timing turned out fine.

So some of your guys were in earlier and some later in the let's buy at a cheaper price games. Would you hold your men in while the main wave long was not breached: would you consider taking men out during the games and add them back in later or just leave em in during all the playing around. I was watching the dollar long moves and gbp/eur short.
That was kind of my question. That pullback was large ABC.

Alex, i am not picking zones i am watching price actions, and just following her lead. difficult to understand? apologies but i am not keen of explaining myself.

if you are referring to the zones or levels i mentioned to my previous post, you have mistaken me of support and resistance trader taking trades with those bias. I watch the pair i am interested and familiar with at the moment, it's geppy (remember we need to know our enemy to win a battle) and by flicking from one tf to another is me checking all possible terrains that my enemy is plotting for an ambush or surprise attack; where technically just watching previous price actions where they created zones and levels... for me those are areas most likely order flows happened.

with this knowledge, before looking for entries, i need to assess the risks and profit factor... this way i can allocate my ammo and can already calculate and gauge my troops strength and power, so i won't be taken surprise and unaware when price go against me or pattern mutates... i already prepared myself to worse scenario. not any battle are the same. (know thyself)

i do dance on 5 min and flowing (managing) with 15 min, as i said, i flick tf to tf just looking for a strong flow of orders, looking fro trapped traders where greed and fear can easily be spotted particularly when you are on the "feel" in the "now" these can drive price action into directional run the reason why we sometimes see a price burst... all these because of fear and greed... those trapped and holding postions very long period of time and those who fear that the missed a good move...

okay why long on Geppy on D1? in my own take, i have a very strong long bias on D1, and when price touched the moving average, i already have the feel that correction is nearly, if not already over... getting confirmation looking at the left side where buyers waiting to jump in...

again it's just me, that is how i see the market... but need to be nimble, it's always changing and mutating... to survive is to be nimble and adapt change, quickly and fluidly.

if wrong... where and when to rescue... what size? scale in and out?

now what is your take?




that is a strong candles... but how to see the possible direction of price?

have a high reading of ATR too, so i'm expecting at least +/- 110 pips run for geppy... but not sure which direction...

sweeping is one of their (MM) MO (bread and butter), so expect it to happen, so if you can identify where those sitting ducks have been hiding, you can also capitalize on this and can also be a good collection for your arsenal.
