I tried out your condor to vert double dip spread the last few days and it's been huge. Yesterday was a winner but small because I got an itchy trigger finger on collecting premium and screwed up the directional. I'll have to work that out better. Today was a monster, though. The one I put on right at yesterday's close was a condor with binary strangles at the condor b/e levels. Both binaries triggered and cashed and the whole position was free at that point. Got max profit on the upper wing and the add on upper wing. lower wing loss was more than covered. Price blew right through the floor on the vert put spread for max profit.

I also did a vert put on oil and it paid me off as did the oil binary. gbp/jpy cashed me on the hedges but the vert put finished right where it started, so overall a win since it was profitable, but i totally mismanaged it and I'm lucky to have come out up on that one.

this FB fly looking sad, might break it b4 the ER, even at a $177.5 vert might be too far, maybe just take the loss...

Day 3 of the hedged NQ Iron Condor. kaKA!! kaKA!! Short side binary hedge paid me out nicely. I should have closed the upper wing at that point as well for max profit on that spread. Wasn't thinking. Price is right at the midline with an hour to go so both wings are on target to be near best payout. I closed out the upper hedge a while ago to keep it to a minimal loss. Overall a great trade on very little risk and had I managed that upper wing better, would have paid out a lot more. I didn't look to get a direction spread on this one at all.

Here's a screenshot of the setup. The green box is the upper spread I sold. The green is the upper binary I bought. Red box is the lower spread I bought. Red line is the lower binary I sold. The binaries are placed at the condor b/e spots. When price busted through the lower spread the lower hedge cashed out covering the portion of the lower spread that the upper profit didn't cover. (green check and red x). At the point I should have closed out the upper spread since it was at max profit. Don't know what I was thinking. Price rose back up into the lower spread and I got out of the upper hedge with a tiny loss. Price is right at the midline for optimal payout on the position.
