Hi, dongsky's, Am I right to say, correct me if im wrong, you are trading into hourly turning points, and timing your entries by 5min and 15min feels according to what your gut feel tells you might be moving the market fairly large next? If I'm right on my understanding, this is a powerful mo, there is 1 part I'm curious abt, how do you judge where to put the stoploss on your gbpjpy trades?
Hi Cookie, my entries is always at 5min, and when price goes to my direction, i close 5min and manage my positions at 15min, and if price is running away through my direction that is when i monitor positions in 1 hour. my mo is not much change, adding positions aggressively on a running market, but on a ranging one, need to be calm and sensible. i still dance the same way as before, only now i refine my footsteps
stops varies, depending on market structure and price's behaviour. alway look for levels or zones where most likely fear and greed is visible... feel it.i love geepy because it fits me, i love wild swings ... the reason why i start placing stop loss because of the nature of this pair, when you're right then you are in heaven but if wrong... hell break loose

sorry for being dumb - but do you actually set a true stop loss against the trades and close them down? I got lost with yesterday's stop before the news - TBH due to news I would not have placed until after the news on the sweep although I start at London time.

Interesting, I'm curious if are there instances where you are deep in rescue and have to cut because impulse is heavy against your direct or do you have a limit of how far you will let things go? Or do you handle these instance in other ways? Look forward to learning from you.

I see it as running into supply zone not thru it so back down to test demand zone most prob. Cannot speak for Donsky of course.

sometimes i do ... but only if i know it was a bit off in timing. i always assess the risk and profit projection before positioning now a days, one way of knowing your enemy by surveying and familiarizing myself to its terrain... against my resources and ammo. not all battles winnable, sometimes running away is best recourse.
