I do try to ensure that both the conditions are in place. This helps in the probability.

for a Weekly, Daily, 4hr sequence I should also wait until price go to the Weekly Supply (orange) and then go to my entry time frame (4hr) to look for
evidence to go short.

thank you all for the incredible information you share, especially to Mike.
For the beginning, some words to my person: I am a newbie to trading and new to supply/demand trading. I already read parts of this thread, but I learn better, when I do things myself. What I like is the top down analysis with a clear decision matrix, a system that you can rely on and automatize trading somehow.
So I tried to do my first top down analysis. My plan is to use the weekly, daily and H4 chart. On the weekly chart I determine the s/d curve, the daily chart is my trend chart and the H4 chart is used for entries. I hope this makes sense. Please keep in mind, that I don't have a decisions matrix by now. I will try to post some top down analysis as often as possible.
During my first analysis some questions occurred:
1. On the chart of the highest tf I mark the nearest fresh s/d zones. Should I also consider the momentum line?
2. The second chart is the trend chart with the momentum line. Should I also consider the s/d zones at this chart? Only fresh s/d zones?
3. The third is used for placing the trade. As I want to buy in a demand zone and sell in a supply zone, the s/d zones must be considered. Only fresh s/d zones? Do I have to consider the momentum line at this chart?
4. What do you consider as a valid s/d zone? Does it have to be fresh and take out another zone?
5. What do you consider as a valid momentum line break? An ohcl candle after break?
6. How should the decision matrix look like? Are the followings thoughts ok?
I think the first criteria are the fresh s/d zones from the first chart and if a zone is in control and where the price is (if it is near a zone).
The second criteria is the momentum line from the second chart. The important thing is, if the momentum (up or down) is still active or if the momentum stalled o the line has been broken.
The third criteria are the s/d zones from the third chart. I rate the zone, I want to trade and take the best one.
So the first two charts are used to determine the direction (long or short). The third chart is used to determine which zone I choose to enter a long or short trade.
Did I get the idea of the decision matrix and how it is used?
