Semafor Indicator - need slight modifications

Hello,

is there a coder who could kindly make slight adjustments to a semafor indicator? The indicator is attached.

The semafor paints three different turning point levels, 1 to 3. 1 or 3 being the strongest, not sure which one but I know how a strong reversal point looks like visually. I have also added a screenshot of the indicator.

The weakest turning point is when we just see a red/green dot. Then level 2 is when the red/green dot has a circle around it and the strongest is when it has two circles around it.

The green/red dot is the weakest and I want it to be completely removed from the indicator. Could anyone remove that?

And on top of that, I need that there is some padding between the price and the dots since the dots often cover the wicks. I just need some distance from it.

Is there anyone who could change the code?

Here is one where you can adjust. You can remove the dots by changing color to none.
The chart is in the foreground, so dots do not cover the highs & lows.

Thank you kindly, but I am not sure if they act the same. Not every semafor indicator has the same calculations I suppose?

I rather prefer a modification on the one I am currently using. Putting my chart in the foreground is a temporary solution but a padding added would be nice and the removal of the level 1 or 3, depending which one is the weakest in the code.
Hi RaysJourney, do not get me wrong.

You do not need to make any changes to the indicator, I do not want to disappoint you but you should remove the indicator once and for all.
I'm just helping you not to waste time on it. This indicator is one of the biggest accounts killer that I know.

It's up to you.

Thank you but I have great success with it. Maybe we are just interpreting it differently. But thank you, I still would like to have these changes done.

I cant load your version, doesn't compile. So not wasting anytime with it.

I have looked at the code through another program, all that is different between the two is period setting 1 is at 9 and period 2 setting is at 31
and the wingding symbol for period 3 is 82 (star) instead of 108 ( disc ). Deviation step for each period is the same.
Adjust these numbers & you are good to go.
All semafor indicators are based on fractals so they are not very different in calculation and will repaint at the right hand edge.

In chaos semafor go to settings and in Period3 put 0. That,s all to have you the second and third periods in this indicator.

Oh I was not aware of that! But wouldn't that influence period 1 and 2 since period 3 calculations are missing? Because then disabling and/or removing it from the code wouldn't make sense at all. I just realized that ....

You can make a comparision, open two identical charts and put in one chaos semafor with three periods, and on the other only two periods.

when fxprimate is saying don't waste time on it,he is absolutely right,i also spend a lot of time in this semafor indicator but it repaints so heavy that you lose a lot of money.always enter on breakout that happens after reversal idenftified by semafor,don't trade semafor because it repaints,so always wait for pull back to happen to 4 hour chart or when PA passes the heinkenashi smooth to have minimum drawdown on your position.

I want to try your current and latest strategy please, do you mind sharing the template and the indicators files or at least posting a screenshot of the indicators list?

I have been trying multiple indicators and strategies since I started trading 6 months ago but none of them worked for me, so please share what you can.
