I have studied the Bunnygirl Cross Method extensively, including 1 on 1 mentoring with the Bunnygirl.

I have come to the conclusion that the Bunnygirl Method is NOT profitable over the longterm.

The Bunnygirl does not even trade her own method, she trades mostly on a 3 min timeframe using fib extensions for profit targets.

After working with her for while I am starting to doubt that she is profitable herself.

tried so many mehtods.. its actually scary hehehe.. ubt the only method that suits me is.. daily pivots.. and fib retracements.. believe it or not... they are simple.. and they rock

PS my signature doesnt reflect the true situation... so please ignore that.. im just so lazy i cant change it hahaaha.. its just that i lost a lotta money on that..

I think you've identified something that is common in the psychology of trading. Traders tend to focus on short-term results. All systems have runs of wins and losses. If a particular system is having a run of winners, it will become popular even if long-term it is a loser. This is ok as a strategy but you have to be aware that at some point you'll need to be nimble in stopping trading the method, or you will give back the profits banked up until that point. Most traders aren't well equipped to know when to bail on a strategy. Those who do are ahead of the game. When the market changes yet again, and the strategy stops working, the other part of this common trader psychology is to jump to yet another new trading idea being put forward. I'm going to go out on a limb here and state that the most popular methods in the poll are not profitable over the long run, including Bunnygirl (which I've tested), Mouteki trading method, Kolachi methods, Vegas methods, James16 price action and many others. The thing to watch out for is methods that are mostly mechanical but that require about 20% discretion to make them profitable. THINK ABOUT THIS: It is impossible for someone without years of experience with a particular method to have profitable discretion with that method, and yet when you read up on these trading strategies that is generally what is required to trade them profitably. It just isn't possible for a newbie to a particular method to have profitable discretion. And if the methods' authors could effectively articulate all the rules that lead to profitable trading of their methods, then those rules could be automated and the 20% discretion could be eliminated.

Guys, the thing you need to understand is that the people putting out these methods are no smarter than yourself and in many cases don't have as much experience as many of the traders on these forums. Many of them have only been trading their methods for a short period of time, and have gotten into teaching to supplement their income because they aren't hacking it from trading alone. I don't mean to trash on them all because I'm sure some of these guys genuinely want to help others and hope to get some help in advancing their ideas from others in return. But keep in mind that the one law that is true most often is that people will tend to act in what they feel is their own self-interest. Put another way, people vote according to their pocketbook.

Kolachi trading is the bomb. I not claiming it is the best, but it sure does rock my world. If you havn't experienced Kolachi trading then you havn't lived life ^^;

I must say this is a good thread. Im a newbie and it is just so much method I can find but I dont have the time to study them one by one. I am sure they are all good, depending on the individual. Now I only have to wait till the vote complete and study the top 3 maybe.

Different method has/have advantage and disadvantage. It is hard to judge which method is the best or simply ROCK because like I said, depending on the individual. But then again, in general, at the end, there will only be one and only "best" method which will be Najib the Newbie's method. Ahaks! Kidding guys.

I have downloded Kolachi file like a month ago and still havent get the time to read it. But it seems like some people say it rocks, im on my way

As for Mr.Mouteki, why only now you share you method? Thanks for sharing man..excetly what I needed. Price Action and Education.

I believe you have made a horrible mistake! A method and/or system is not effective by how many pips it makes. First off, pips are subjective. One person may make x number of pips with a system and another can make y number of pips with the same system. So to belittle a system to how many pips one particular person made with it is ignorant and degrading to that method and/or system.

However, I will elaborate on why this system rocks my world. It is strongly based on a WMA slope. This usually means you can get into a trade with little whipsaw. That was always a major goal of mine, avoiding whipsaws. Second of all, I get to see how this WMA interacts with EMAs and their unique relationships. With this alone I am able to make successful trades. So that is why this system rocks my worlds, not because I made x pips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Furthermore, if you are solely deciding on choosing a system based on what performance, pip wise, it has produced for others and yourself, I think you are mistaking in the point of a system and ultimately setting yourself up for failure.

Of all the things that I can think of that are subjective, I would have to say that pips are definitley NOT.

Also, I decide to go live with a system solely on what my performance with it has shown me. What else is there to base system effectiveness on other than performance?

In no way am I knocking Kolachi. Seems quite promising to me also, but I don't understand some of these statements about PIPS not being important.

winrate, payrate and frequency are way more import then pips. take for example, you have a system that wins 50% of the time with a s/l of 10 and t/p of 20 and you can trade it 3 times a day. then you have a system that wins 50% of the time with a 100 s/l and a 200 t/p and you trade 1 time per day . the first system is 6x more profitable not counting in money management, but the 2nd system makes 200 pips in a day while the first only makes 60 in a day. pips dont really have much value as to the profitability of a system.
