Hi Guys,

Some may remember me from - way back.

I've been away from forex trading for quite some years (2013'ish) and now decided to return.

I'm hearing alot has changed.
I used to trade with Alpari UK (metatrader4) and am wondering which is the best trading co - in your opinions and why.
Heard about plus500 and FXPro ??

Also anything to watch for that has changed in last few years?

Hello...I came across your thread and saw you are looking for a platform to return to FX trading. Welcome back!! We've no corresponded but I am always trying to find someone to have a dialog with in regard to trading and platforms.

I have recently (about 2 years now) switched from MT4/MT5 to a platform called cTrader. I like it much better. It is a much more flexible platform with just about every time frame you can imagine. I don't know if you trade using indicators or just price, but both are good, and there is a substantial and growing group of people coding for this platform. Indeed most of the indicators I see commonly around FF are already coded by volunteers or the cTrader crew already.

I brokerage I use is pepperstone out of Australia. Like most large organizations they have offices around the world.

Yes for the following reasons;

1) Reputation
2) Reliability
3) ECN
4) Regulated in the UK
5) Low Spread compared to others

IG as good as anyone for retail. Been with them 10 years + now no problems. Money back to bank next day.
Welcome to the world of trading again. Yes. Somehow trading pattern is more updated now than 2013’s. As you were a trader you won’t face significant difficulties in terms of trading. However, it is my personal opinion that you can spend some time with demo trading accounts with any regulated platform you will suitable, judge its facilities and evaluate your trading skills. It will definitely help you. as you have used MT4, you can feel better with MT5 platforms now. Best of luck.

Don't keep us in suspense...show us what your working on!!

Also, forgive me is this sounds intrusive but, perhaps share with us what (if any) difficulties you experienced before and what plan you have to overcome these on this attempt. I am very curious to learn how others overcome (read "master") their challenges to trading and I often find "peals of wisdom" in these stories. If you would care to comment...if not I understand too...many of these issues are very personal.
