If you're looking for locked in 1:5, then options are a good bet. You can make trades that are fixed risk/fixed reward that don't necessarily depend on the market moving a lot. In fact, you can do setups geared towards the market being range bound.

I don't think there is any such strategy that will give you 1:5 RR consistently. You can only get such set up when you are in a trendy market. And we all know market doesn't trend all the day. And picking a trend in early stage is also a difficult task. For me RR is decided by your trade recognising capabilities. By following other people strategy it's not possible.

Absolutely, all we can do is read the price action, I won't post the Daily of AUDUSD, you can check the lower highs and lower lows by yourself

Here is the 4 Hour however, even that is leaving Price Action clues for direction. Now, depends on your time frame for trading, do you scalp for 10, 20, 30 pips?

Or do you think it could be a precursor for the FMOC coming up? Interest rates rise, strong USD, equals Sell AUD - Buy USD, right?

That could last for months.......... or, it could be huge fake out, we will see in the next day, good luck

You have to get into it to make 5 to 1, or 1 to 1 or whatever!

It's a perfectly sound entry method, the rest is up to money management, etc.....

Are you sure? Then you have to make sure such a great profit ratios in your winning trades.

It is really difficult to mange the trades with the risk/reward ratio of 1:5. The newbies are advised to work on the risk management with the risk to reward ratio of 1:3 which is quite achieveable on the Forex market. You can start with low in order to reach the high.

if you can found that, you will be rich guy in forex. but you should to know about your loss level and profit level first. atleast 1:1
