Hi! I have a question. It's now March 20, 2018 and ADR 100 days looks like it's now near 103 pips instead of the 96 I see in this thread from January 2018. Does the 15/45 pip box get bigger or smaller when ADR changes? If so, by how much? Thank you very much.

Why you did not entered a buy on this trade? There were many opportunities where price open and close outside the box.. triggering a buy.. I don't see the reason for a sell.. I'm glad it worked for you, but i don't see it.. I did not enter because of the caution.

A buy trade was not entered due to the pending FOMC statement, a major news announcement.
The sell order was not entered according to the rules. Noting the rapid price decline, I impulsively jumped in when the lower box level was breached and got lucky. Had I been trading during the FOMC statement, such action would have been even more fortunate but undisciplined. In retrospect, I should have kept to the rules and regret posting this trade. Thanks for your constructive comment.

Target hit.

This is the first live trade.

But as I said before the daily open line is the risk ( stop loss ) line for me.

So the first buy triggered hit the stop loss at daily open line.

Second time sell triggered and hit target.

Fxmd, is Eagle's Breakout Box the correct time? My box both begins and ends one hour earlier than his. My high/low box was 70 pips and was a cautionary trade that I avoided. Please clarify, and thanks!

Thanks for the quick response, Fxmd.

All of the posts of the Box I have seen are showing 17 rather than 16 candles. If you change the End Time parameter from 4 to 3:59, your box will stop at 2:00 GMT instead of 2:15 GMT. If your intent is to include the 17th candle, then I will change my setting back to 17 candles as I want to emulate your very successful trading history with this strategy.
