A friend and I who trade together in a private skype room have the following mantra for want of a better word :-

B T F D

Buy The F Dip

S T F R

Sell The F Rise

I think you can work out what the F is lol

It works for me.

I guess I've traded in this way in most of my trades....but the problem is when a F.. rise do not happen when I'm long and viceversa....

Trading with the prevailing trend helps a lot - I've never been a good Countertrend trader.

In this market, F is for Freudian....

(all quiet on the jtrade front, 2 hr late school today after truly outstanding concert last night : 200+ kids + orchestra performing "The Armed Man : A Mass for Peace")

I am contemplating C for Context this weekend, but despite recognising the important understanding of other, far more sophisticated and capable traders, I really do feel dyslexic at MP data. Sometimes it is better to focus on doing what one can do well, however limited that may be, rather than trying to be something one is not...

My longs from 860 zone were good but the exits so and so.
I have to save my cash and then I can start thinking to add something, especially in these days....

900 is again the new support after 830 zone held but now US will play their cards.
So far all main US indices seem to open on slight gap-down.
