Well, I see that there are a couple of standard, very basic Profile indicators within NT8, so I've put up an M30 chart. The Volume Profile, the narrow-lined upper one in the screenshot, seems to only generate from live tick data, so it needs to run from the start of the session, as it will do tomorrow. The number of Volume Zones is user selectable - I have 20 on this chart - and seems to scale to the chart itself. Interesting enough to make a start...
One more comment on the time of day I trade : as I mentioned, right now I am trading just a couple of hours in the European morning (which is why I'm not presently with you and the NQ guys, H); however, if I am "home alone" and full of energy, my absolute favourite time to trade, NQ or FDAX, is the last 90 minutes or so into the 10pm Close. It's often a "one hit wonder" - just a single trade with a clear setup & entry trigger, all the day's S&R clear to see, just the tide finally going back out or storming in further into the Close.
