I would recommend the course, If you read the reviews about their being 45 mins of videos per week and all the other points. It’s bad if you just want to watch videos once and move to the next subject. But be responsible for your own process.. use the week to draw territories on loads of charts and timeframes, go deep and rigourously practice that subject, so when the next subject comes it comes as a new piece of the puzzle. As time goes on you can feel everything clicking into place. Don’t buy courses expecting that once youve finished your magically going To trade ... it’s like going to school lessons and not doing your home study and expecting to get AStars ... the knowledge is sound, use it properly and practice it and you will get profitable

I would recommend to go back and watch the course again and again as it just helps in the mastering of each section and makes things easier to spot and understand. I am little confused why the 'Territories and Who Started It' in the Core Basics classes are taught differently and in a much easier way than the MPA course? I hope Navin can make things much more clearer in V2. I think its because in the MPA course it is including the big boy but if that's the case it should be explained in the video. There is no set date for V2 of MPA as of yet but we will keep you updated.

The Core Basics course is a supplementary course to the MPA so it's good that it helped you to understand the MPA lessons better. Also if you have any questions on any part of the MPA of Core Basics course you can ask in the comment section below and you will get a response within 24 hours

Finally, Navin shares trade examples in some of his MPA webinars (at the end of MPA course) and also in some of his interviews which you can find in the blog section of our website www.urbanforex.com/blog

I don't want to write a negative review either. His youtube videos are great, however the MPA and 4CB courses are mediocre at best. There are no in-depth discussions or slides to discuss the charts or Navin's thought process in detail. Although his team is quick to respond to questions, it is ONLY limited to the contents taught in the few short 5min videos released per week. The MPA webinars at the end of the course were much better presented, but still don't tie the whole concept together. The worst part was the majority of the examples used were very straight forward set ups, such setups do not present on a day to day bases. Going through the comments and webinars, there are signs of confusion, inability to draw proper S&R and identify the direction of the market.

You can find various youtubers reviewing possible trade setups in the upcoming week for free. Here, this is a privilege reserved only for elite community members.

The MPA and 4CB is a little over $1000. The elite community is close to $4000/ year.
Has my trade improved? Quite the opposite.
Money well spent? I guess not.

I was member of FW an year (UF since 2011) and never ever been said there is any way to identify "market direction" All this style is about " PRICE ACTION" not to find market direction. All those course are about the PA reaction on some certain levels. To identify direction is completely different analyse and membership in FW is voluntary not mandatory.

But understandable if some 1 would expect to be professional after these little info by Navin. Impossible!! There is lot of stuff to learn and grow up individually as a trader and not just to follow somebody. Those courses are like to get anybody to the right direction of trading lifestyle.

I have one question for Navin.Why after being such a great trader would you bother with all of this.I have enjoyed many of your vids,so I am not being nasty.but why such a big effort to draw in students when you should be a very wealthy man.I think this is a valid and interesting question.Thanks.will look forward to your answer.

Thanks @4thelasers and others for your honesty, willingness to record a well balanced account of all that this educational provider offers, both positives and negatives. It's a tough balancing act to achieve when you're training traders on technicals, fundamentals, and the psychology of trading, which is by far the most difficult. It seems in programs I have experienced that it's relatively easy to offer the basics (which can be found on the internet for free) but then to take it to the next level into areas that cause many traders to fail, it's a longer and more intense affair.
Of course we're not here to blindly criticize at all, just to get a well-informed and balanced appraisal and a whole view of what's offered from beginning to end.
I, for one, love his videos too but was just stopping in to hear what previous students say once they've seen the whole program. Thank you.

pros
i like navin as he has a great way of teaching

youtube videos
cons
you get interested by watching youtube videos - but if you study them enough you will find navin always never gives 100% conclusions, he diverts and asks if theres mpa students in the webinar and gest them to say its easy bla bla - even when they havent completed the course , they feel obliged to answer

cons -- navin mentions in his webinars that all info is in the mpa -- not always the case
unless they have been updated recently lots of the info is a bit vague and left open-ended -- MONEY SPOT point in case - there is 2-3 very short explanations that show money spot -- but nothing on how to identify it .

cons the title- MPA mastering price action -- YOU CANT UNLESS YOU ARE TAUGHT HOW TO PIECE IT altogether
WHICH THE MPA COURSE DOES NOT INCLUDE ---- ITS ALL OPEN TO YOUR INTERPRETATION ON HOW ALL THE MODULES FIT TOGETHER.

so yes its better than a lot of stuff out there --
but its navins take on the market


unless you are very good and are able to pick up/understand navins methods quickly
or purchase more advanced urban forex courses
or join the very expensive urban forex elite members club - £1000+ pm

you will find it very hard to piece MPA together --

It's shocking to know that there are still so many traders who cannot even differentiate what works and what doesn't never mind about trying to be a successful one. Simply pathetic that they can easily be fooled by a slick snake oil salesman.

Yes I too think it's easier to collect info, do your own study, practice on a demo account as you are developing a strategy, and then once you have two profitable months start trading on $1000 account to implement same system (backtested, traded with on demo) with real money. And just work on progressing slowly over 6 months to one year like this, instead of thinking that purchasing expensive instruction will pay off or somehow immunize a trader against what is really the crux of the matter to begin with.... mastering patience, risk management that you implement consistently no matter what, and also mastery of other destructive emotions like revenge, paranoia, and exasperation.

Valid question Rolling Stone. Navin looking to find good traders for our future prop trading firm. As it’s very hard to find them, we’ve decided to train people ourselves and then select the best of them. In our industry it is also known that teaching makes you a better trader.

On top of that Navin enjoys teaching - it’s a passion for him.

Hey Gherron, thanks for the feedback, we appreciate it. And yes, it is always good, especially for us to see where we can improve in terms of our content and our customer support.

We actually don't provide any basics course at the moment but are looking into after many requests. We do suggest people look at babypips.com as many of us have gone through there when we started ourselves (myself included). But we also do provide a lot of good free content on our youtube channel, blog page and via our live webinars.

The MPA is designed to teach people how to read the markets for themselves.

  1. How to identify buyers territories and sellers territories
  2. How to gauge momentum so you can identify when a trend or a pullback is slowing down
  3. How to identify ranges, channels, and trends and what you need to be wary of
  4. How to identify probes or spikes, V formations etc.. etc...

MPA is not a course that you can run through once and become a profitable trader. It takes time, you need to rewatch the lessons over and over and you need to practice the theory yourself over and over. The more you watch the more you pick up and the more ah-ha moments you get while also reinforcing the knowledge you already have.

Yes, it does require you to piece it together a bit, which comes with practice.

if you cant piece it together

its kinda like you have sold a 1000 piece jig saw and left 20 pieces out

i think the main point i want to make is that -- the youtube videos gives this great sense that after the mpa course you will somehow be able to master price action

i have watched the mpa webinars and noticed via the chat box a lot of mpa students are confused over a lot of the mpa material so its not just me tbh

i have sinced moved on from trying to decipher the navin code when i realised early on urban forex training will have more sequels that star wars
the discounted mpa course/slick stealth sales pitch within the ytube videos was only exactly what i thought carrot - stick

i not saying you wont learn from mpa course as you will as you say have a few aha moments - but these aha moments are a fraction of the knowledge required .

i do think you mean well Garry but ive seen heard and researched enough to make an informed choice that URBAN FOREX/NAVIN is not for me -- maybe great for a lot of other people as we all learn differently -
